This is just a reminder that this broch iron gym PAGE isn't updated. Please use/add the broch iron gym group for any updates and up coming events.

Hi, Hope everyone has had a good start to 2014 and hope you’re on your way to achieving your goals.
Unfortunately it has come to our attention that there needs to be some clarity with regards to the rules of the gym.
Firstly it goes without saying that if you use any equipment please put it back as you found it, if you can lift the weights out you can lift them back again!
The gym is a members only private establishment, this means that the only people training there should be current members who have signed an annual disclaimer. Members may let non-members in to train but are reminded that they are taking full responsibility for them (non-members should also pay non-members rates). Please do not admit non-members into the gym outwith Tuesday and Thursday club nights, if you let anyone in you are taking responsibility for their actions. Anyone wishing to become a new member or renew their membership please go to the gym on a club night (Tuesday or Thursday) or contact myself through the day.
On a side note anyone wishing to become a member who is still only 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent who is willing to sign a disclaimer on their behalf.
Members are also reminded that the Strongman equipment is dangerous and as such should not be used without supervision.
I apologise to majority of members for having to read through all this but I am also fully aware of the frustrations caused but the disruptive minority.

A massive congrats to Larry Wood for getting 6th place in his first major competition at Scotland's Strongest Man under 105Kg.

BIG just want to say a massive congrats to our 2 competitors Junior and Ewan for putting up a great show at the U90 strongman event last weekend. A huge deadlift from young Ewan and a massive stone lift from Junior. Welldone guys!

Also just been confirmed that the comp being held at the Blue light festival will be a Novice comp on the 12th May. Hope to get the BIG guys to get names in for this!!!

Just wanted to say a massive congrats to all the lads who competed and helped out at the Cairnbulg Gala.
Also good luck to all the guys who will be competing in the Open Strongman comp this weekend at the Fraserburgh Gala.
Hopefully there will be a big turn out to support the guys.
