Our Gents Brand Putter team were in action again last night.

Playing against Fereneze, they brought in another excellent 5.5 - 2.5 home win.

Golf 9’s debut tonight for Cathkin tonight @ Kirkhill Golf Club against 5 other local clubs.

Our young team brought in an excellent win with 57 points.

Our ladies Park Trophy were away from home at East Kilbride tonight & brought in an excellent 4.5 - 2.5 win 👏

This week’s weather has been very hit or miss with hot & cold temperatures throughout & at times torrential rain. This affected maintenance work, with the majority of cutting being done in very wet conditions.

MAINTENANCE:
• Area in front 1st tee has all been cut down.
• Top area between the 2nd & 4th fairways have also been cut down.
• All plantations & other areas have all been cut as normal.

ACADEMY (Our Greens Team are covering holiday leave):
• General maintenance - undertaking ball collections & emptying bins.
• Hand picked over a 1000 range balls from the right-hand-side of long game area.

GENERAL:
• Maintenance of the air compressor compound.
• Emptying bins around the Clubhouse.

Following on from their excellent home result on Friday, our Fleming Watson team brought in another fantastic win today.

Playing away from home at Cathcart Castle, in a tightly contested match, they won 3.5 - 2.5.

Playing at home tonight against Bonnyton Golf Club, our Fleming Watson team brought in another solid 4.5 - 1.5 victory.
