Third place for Connor McArthur in men's shobo ippon and for the SKA tream at the SKA open event in Largs yesterday. Some hard fights and valuable experience gained 🥋👊

Karate based fitness class this Sunday the 12th October, 12 to 1pm at Firhill sports Complex no suits or belts. Mostly pad work and slow Kata to get moving for those who have been away a wee while....All welcome

Connor, Ross and Ashley Gwynne placed 2nd in the mixed team event, they all fought well and the SKA should be proud of them...can anyone spot Kai in the England team who came 3rd 😀

Well done to Connor McArthur & Ross McArthur who fought for the SKA in the SKA open in Largs gaining 3rd place in the team event only losing out to a strong Welsh team. Special mention for Kai Hannah who fought for the England team and was very unlucky in the male novice event. Ross gained a 2nd place in the sanbon event and a 3rd place in the ippon event. Connor gained a 3rd in the sandon event. They are a credit to our club, next time we aim higher

Well done to Ross McArthur and Kai Hannah from Ken Sae Kai Karate Club who competed as part of the SKA squad at the English Karate Alliance championship in Barnsley on the 12/11/23. Ross won the 18-21 open event and Kai gained second place in the gents novice event. Both fought extremely well and represented our club with distinction. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻🥋🥋onwards and upwards

We are now training at Firhill sports complex on a Tuesday 7-8pm all welcome. No monthly fees pay as you train

The Saturday class is cancelled we will be training on a Sunday for the next few weeks at the Firhill sports complex from this Sunday the 20th February 12 - 1pm. All welcome
