Let's start the new week on a positive note 📝 !!
I believe the biggest illusions is believing that some things will last forever.
We experience pleasure in life and believe it will last forever, we experience pain and think it will last forever until we feel stressed and anxious, we love our young bodies and think they we will be in that shape forever, we gain weight and think that it has to be like that forever. I can go on and on, same applies to relationships wealth, success, defeat, heartbreak and feelings, especially feelings.
We maybe find ourselves unhappy about our weight gain and worried about our health but instead of taking ACTION, we worry and keep postponing to "Next Monday" that never comes.
It doesn't have to be that way, there is always something that we can do to change our situation not matter what.
If you are working towards any of your goals, stay hopeful and keep believing in yourself 💫💪.

Celebrating Maggie’s milestone today ! 💪🔥
Me and Maggie Started working together the last week of September, so 4 months and a bit went by ! I couldn't be happier of the progress she has made !
When I spoke to her on the phone she mentioned that getting back in shape and improve her overall fitness has been a dream of hers for many years. She tried by herself a few things but didn't work in the long run. She needed someone whom she could trust to help her along the way, to give her the knowledge in order that she could make better choices, change her lifestyle, adopt habits that will take her to her goals and keep the results long therm.
She was a bit fearful to start in the gym but she was determined to get the job done and showed up!
She started training with me 3x week and now she is able to do an extra session by herself! You should see how confident she is in the gym! Makes me so proud! 🥲
During these months Maggie learnt to:
1️⃣ use the gym equipment and train with good form.
2️⃣Lift heavy weights, especially leg press and deadlift.
3️⃣Manage her nutrition in order to stay in a calorie deficit while going out during the weekend and still getting results!
The first 2 photos are illustrated some of the results from September till now, the last 2 from November till now.
So far she has lost 10kg, and built some muscle!
We have adopted a stady fat loss 📉 protocolo, utilising a small window of calories deficit that allowd Maggie to lose fat tissue and build some muscles at the same time. All this as I said whilst having the food she loves and keeping a sociable life!
Maggie decided to commit to her goals, she is so disciplined! She turn up early for our sessions so that she can get her cardio done, she has never missed a day nor cancelled a session, and trust me some days she felt tired too, having a full-time job that requires lots of responsibility.
She is one of the most dedicated and patient people I know, gives 100% without excuses and I have so much respect for the effort she put into her fitness! 👏 🥇 So excited for the future progress!
Now, head down and let's keep on grinding for more gains Maggie ! Let's go !💪

Adopt a positive mindset towards weight loss and keep your results!
You Don't need to feel guilty, anxious and sorry for yourself anymore.
Neither is necessary to to harmful diets and excessively exercise that with only effective negatively your long term mental and physical health.

Progress looks and feels different for each one of us.
Your progress us your progress, is not up to anybody else to judge it!
The real transformation starts within and often can't be shown in picture.
My last cut was 6 months ago and ever since I have been eating on a calorie surplus between 3000 to 3500 kcal per day.
During these months I have made many improvements that I am really proud of.
Relationship with food.
BEFORE:
I had a big list of trigger foods I couldn't keep at home. I used to like a failure even eating mIntenance calories and I would binge to cope with emotions.
VS now:
I can say that is totally healed!
No more trigger food, no more cravings, no more guilt. I have learnt how to cope better with emotions.
Training.
BEFORE:
I would feel like a failure if I would miss a workout because if I wasn't well or just needed a day off training to recover.
VS now:
I have an healthy relationship with exercise and I do it because I love it and I love how it makes me feel.
Body image.
BEFORE:
I was never happy, not even when I have achieved one of the best shape of my life, I was never enough, not lean enough, not muscular enough. I had an image in my mind, a belief of what I was supposed to look like.
VS now:
I love the way I look, I think is a good balance of everything I always wanted. A bit soft, a bit muscular and feminine at the same time.
I feel more confident and happier then ever!
So blessed and excited for 2022 to keep growing stronger physically, mentally and to keep helping all my awsome clients achieve their fitness goals!

Have you read the 'NHS guidelines for exercises' yet?
On the website , is recommended that adults between 19 and 64 should aim to:
✅ do strengthening activities that work all the major muscle groups (legs, hips, back, abdomen, chest, shoulders and arms) on at least 2 days a week.

Struggle with motivation?
Does that voice in your head keep saying that you 'can do it tomorrow' so you keep postponing exercise?
The best thing is always to take action, even if small it will shut the negative chatter and make you feel accomplished.

You don’t have to spend 2h every day in th gym, restrict your food intake drastically, avoid social gathering nor attempt one of the 1.000 fad diets out there.
In fact, you need 1h of exercise, 2 to 3 times per week and someone that gives you the right knowledge and instruments to manage yor nutrition.
Take Maggie for example:
When she joined my coaching program a few months ago’ she was struggling to lose the weight gained during lockdown.
Having little knowledge of exercise she was feeling afraid to join the gym by herself. Also, she had a few misconseptions about nutrition that wouldn’t help her get the results she was looking for.
This made her feel sad and frustrated, the whole sitiation was having a negative impact on her self-esteem.
But Maggie decided to change, joined my coaching program and here’s what happened…
We put a plan of action together based on Maggie’s lifestyle.
Maggie has been attending the gym 1h session with me 3 x week, she has never missed 1 session, has been very disciplined and took very seriously our working relationship.
She come in earlier for her session to get her cardio schedule done. She learnt how to manage her nutrition in order to feel strong in the gym,energetic throuth the day, lose weight and still attend parties and social events.
During the past two months together Maggie achieved all these:
Fat loss: Down 6lbs ✅
Strenght :Leg Press PB 180kg💪
Confidence: She feels better wearing her clothes and exercise in the gym😍
Knowledge: She perform exercie correctly now and gained knowledge about nutrition👩🎓
Mood: She feels happier than ever and hopeful for the future. 🥳
I admire Maggie very much and love coaching her. She is taking her fitness journey with the right attitude, as a long therm process that she fell in love with. I am so proud of all her progress in such a short period and I am excited to see how much more we can do together!

Tips to start of the week with confidence 💪💥
Let go of everything that happed till now.
Focus on what you love about yourself and others.

Feed your mind by reading positive books 📚
Speak to your loved ones.
Cook your meals head so that you are always well nourished throughout the day 😋
Drink plenty of water 💧
Sleep 7-8 everyday 😴

Also remember to love yourself at any stage! Is the biggest lesson I have learnt this year, while I was trying to be as thin as I could possibly be, but still didn't like what I was seeing in the mirror...guess what? Mirrors 🪞 are cold, static liars and break easily, they can't tell anybody the story of whom we are, our values, our battles, our endless work, our passions and intentions for the future!
I love training because it makes me feel confident, regardless of the goals I have in mind and the way I look. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment that I have done something good for my physical and mental health 😌 🙏 .
I hope you can focus on the positive aspects of yourselves and life will give you more of those in return ❤
