One of my fave ab excerises this as it ticks a few of the boxes I look for in most excerises
✅️ Able to progress it through load
✅️ Good stretch
✅️ Stability
Tips :
Put the thickest part of the ab mat closest to hips for extra stretch.
Lock shins in between seat and back support for extra stability.
Pause at both fully lengthened and contracted part of the lift to fully own the rep and reduce momentum.

My name's Shaun, doting Father to a little boy and health & fitness nut 👨👦
I graduated high school a whooping 105lb soaking wet. Struggled to put on any weight, was underweight, lacked muscle, no strength, always unwell wasn't happy in my own body, severe stammer and in turn lacked confidence 🫣
I knew I had two choices. Transform or remain the same.
What came next was years of improper training, dieting and lifestyle. struggling to put on any muscle. Actually just ended up getting fat! Ended up jumping on steroids, wrecking my health, mental health and in turn getting a serious injury. The snowball effect was crazy!
Insecure, lost & confused > poor training, diet and lifestyle habits > steroids to fast track & compensate > anxiety, panic attacks, migranes, torn rotator cuff > out of training for years > all the fake muscle gone, left with chronic pain and hormones in the gutter 😔
After years of trying to heal with mainstream medicine and failing, I took matters into my own hands and went on a holistic healing journey. Detoxification, juicing, fasting, experimenting with different diets, breathwork, meditation, herbs, supplements, yoga, qigong, cold water therapy and on and on!
I then started building the body from the very beginning again (in the before picture...after pic 30lb up! 💪), this time with a wealth of knowledge and experience I gained. A sustainable balanced Holistic approach. Confidence, strength and vitality are now the new norm. 🦸♂️
All that hardship for the greater good tho! As now I'm in a position to offer coaching to other men in the art of Body Transformation! And in a fraction of the time and without all the pitfalls I had to endure 🥳
