Reaching to catch kicks too often can be a bad habit when you're sparing  

It's too easy for your opponent to land shots, fake or, in a real fight, for you to break an arm if they throw it with enough power.

Beginners do it a lot but I'm guilty of it myself recently

A simple instruction I gave Alex here is focus on blocking kicks with his lower half, and punches with his top

Big shout out to my client Martyn��The progress he's made in 3 months has been superb.

Over 7kg down and making amazing progress with both muay thai and general fitness.

Despite things not being ideal right now, he's just accepting where he's at and staying focused on doing what he can to keep moving forward
