Fiona McKenzie holds The Work of Byron Katie and Firewalk workshops in Glasgow and throughout Scotland. She was not joking! I always feel better afterwards.

About Fiona McKenzie

Fiona has been involved in the healing arts for over 30 years, motivated initially by a desire to address her own anxiety and depression. Fiona loves working with groups and individuals to help and inspire them to help themselves. Throughout the years, Fiona's practice has included polarity therapy, massage, transformational breathing, shamanic dancing and healing, and yoga.

Although Fiona still provides these therapies, her practice is now focused on The Work and Firewalks. Fiona also teaches yoga classes each week and continues to provide client's with one-to-one therapy sessions. "Fiona is a person who is not afraid to go in deep and explore her own vulnerability and is able to”midwife” others to the same. She is caring and daring, using an eclectic range of techniques and skills to which she brings her own unique quality.” Aine Kennedy

The Work

There is nothing that love isn't. To love what is, is the ultimate act of self love. The Work is a practise which helps us to identify and question the thoughts separating us from our true nature. This can lead to inner peace and improved relationships. All it requires is courage and an open mind. Fiona has been practising The Work since 2009and is qualified to serve on The Work helpline. She regularly attends Byron Katie workshops and is in training to become a Certified Facilitator. Firewalks

Fire rituals have been used since time immemorial because they work. They are challenging, healing, energising and joy filled. They bring to life something deep within us. As we build and light the fire together we create community. This supports us to follow our own inner knowing when the time comes to take that first step on the hot embers or not. Everyone’s choice is honoured. Fiona did her first firewalk in the 1980s. She is a certified Firewalk Instructor and has been holding Firewalk Workshops since 2007.

This weekend on a beautiful herb farm in the Algrve will support you
to slow down, gain perspective on your path and give you the energy to make any changes to the seemingly impossible in your life.

We will commune with the spirit of that land, the plant beings living there and of course with eachother

Fri 6th -Sun 8th Oct. Residential €225 Non- residential €55 per day, including lunch.

For full seminar, shared cabin or yurt accommodation and all meals from Fri supper to Sun teatime is 225 euros . Extra bed and breakfast and dinner on Sun night is 45 euros. Seminar days only including lunch 55 euros/day.
Arrival 4.00-6.00pm on Friday. Course begins with supper together on Friday followed by introductory session. Course ends with tea and cake at 4.00pm on Sunday, followed by departure.
