Strong performance from Old Crocs Over 65’s walking football team today at Toryglen. A win and two draws was the least they deserved after dominating all three games. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Winning captain Alan Thomas being presented with the Funday trophy by his opposite number. A hard fought 3-2 win for the bibs with all players and some of those who couldn’t play making a donation to yesterday’s Funday charity. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Today at Tory Glen our Giffnock North Over 65s Walking Football squad were unable reproduce their Over 65s League form and failed to get out of their section in The International β€œGlasgow Trophy” tournament.

Defeats by Alloa Athletic, Annan Athletic, Billericay United and Fife Wanderers made it impossible to qualify for the Quarter Finals with only a very creditable draw against a much fancied Ayr United giving some joy to the squad.

The squad will now be concentrating on the next set of League fixtures on Friday 25th April at Tory Glen.

It was a long day for all those players involved and the Club appreciated the players effort in the new venture of β€˜Walking Football.’

Well done lads πŸ™ŒπŸ»
