Aarons was never a long-term solution, and once he goes back to Bournemouth, we’re short again in that area. Same story on the left side too, there’s still not enough natural quality and depth there if we want to push on properly.

It’s one of those positions you can’t really patch up anymore — if we’re serious about competing, it’s two proper full-backs needed, not makeshift fixes.

Did you know?

Many fans know about the famous Blue Room, but fewer know that the piano inside was once played by legendary Rangers manager Bill Struth.

After matches, Struth would reportedly sit at the piano and play to relax. The piano remained part of the Blue Room for decades and could be seen in historic photographs of one of the most iconic rooms in British football.

Lizzie Arnot calls time on her playing career.

A league title, two Scottish Cups and three Sky Sports Cups won during her time at Rangers.

A great servant to the game and a winner in blue.

All the best ❤️🤍💙

Our lad, Nicolas Raskin was in action for Belgium on Tuesday night, starting in their 2-0 win away to Croatia ahead of the World Cup.

The Rangers midfielder put in a solid shift in the heart of midfield as Belgium continued their preparations for this summer’s tournament. Raskin now looks set to play a big role for his country on the biggest stage of all.

Not his flashiest performance, but another cap, another start, and more valuable experience for one of Rangers’ most important players.

The Algerian midfielder joined Rangers on a free transfer from Olympique de Marseille in 2005 and went on to make 108 appearances, scoring 4 goals for the club. During his time at Ibrox he won 2 Scottish Cups and 2 League Cups.

A calm and intelligent player, Hemdani was a key part of Rangers’ run to the 2008 UEFA Cup Final in Manchester, playing the full 90 minutes against FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. Although Rangers lost 2-0, he was proud of the journey and said afterwards that Zenit “deserved their win” after an outstanding European campaign.

Wee fact: Hemdani’s final professional appearance came in that 2008 UEFA Cup Final. He never played another senior match after leaving Rangers in 2009.

“I loved my time at Rangers. The fans, the club and the atmosphere at Ibrox were special.”

Did you rate Brahim Hemdani as a player?🔴⚪️🔵
