If you were part of the Southside Six family, you’ll probably recognize Fiona (usually found at the finish line in her yellow vest, making sure everyone was looked after).
While the race has been on a long-term hiatus, Fiona’s career as a physiotherapist has never stopped. She spent years helping our runners cross that finish line safely, and we are so proud to share that she has officially opened her own practice:
Whitecart Physiotherapy
It’s located in Clarkston, just metres from the Southside Six route!
Whether you’re still training for those 16-mile park loops, nursing an old injury, or just looking for a local expert who truly knows the community, she’s back and ready to help.
It feels right to see Fiona continuing her mission to keep the Southside moving. If you’ve got a ni**le that needs an expert eye, you know where she is! You can find the clinic here: https://www.whitecartphysio.co.uk/

It’s been a while, Southside. We hope you're all keeping well.

It’s 10 years today since this small group were first to run The Southside Six, with plenty of others taking part in the years that followed.
During a clear up earlier this year we found some event tshirts from each year and will shortly make these available to buy.
We hope that everyone has been, and continues to be, well during this strangest of times.

We’ve donated towards fixing the Glad Cafe roof. If you’re able to help out a great Southside location (and venue of our after parties), please do...
Raising the Roof at the Glad Cafe!
We want to raise money to fix our leaky roof to make sure that we can keep on delivering great gigs, good food and excellent music lessons!

Good luck to everyone running the London Marathon today.
We've calculated that if we had 40,000+ entrants too we'd be able to afford the road closures and notifications we need.
Unfortunately the queues for the approx 250,000 required stickers would be miles long so that idea is a non-starter :-)
