Hey everyone.

So, where to start??

Over the past 8 years, I’ve been on a bit of a journey, gaining a degree in education and going on the post graduate course into teaching.

I gained so much experience and knowledge on this journey and I want to use all that to build this programme into the fun and unique education through sport programme I envisaged when I started out all those years ago…, in 2012!!

That’s why I updated the profile picture of this group, to a picture taken on one of my first ever F4F sessions 😊😊.

A nice reminder of how far I’ve come as a person, and my reason for doing all this in the first place, which’s to allow children to have fun and create opportunities for them to reach their potential.

Using sports to help make a positive impact on the lives of young people and families has helped me become a better person, hopefully a better father and parent, and nothing has came close to being as rewarding as helping others.

Was meant to be a quick post to let you all know I’ll be starting backup some futsal4fun sessions in the coming months 🤣🤣!!

Look out for further updates as there is lots of new developments with the programme and others like it which I’m currently developing.

Also upcoming sessions in schools and the local area with hopefully lots of exciting new partnership’s too, so I can’t wait to get started!!

Cheers

Scott

Hey everyone,

We are looking for coaches and volunteers to work at our sessions and clubs across Glasgow!! If you have a passion for sport and working with young people then experience and qualifications are not essential and can be gained in the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people in Scotland, using sport to engage with and educate primary school children.

We offer training and coaching qualifications to our staff and each will receive a Futsal4Fun Welcome Pack. This contains items including our coaching manual, contacts sheet, water bottle, F4F tracksuit and employment agreement.

Once the recruirement ad is online I will upload the link here but please feel free to message or post on this page if interested. Alternatively, send your CV and cover letter to the email address provided below:

[email protected]

We will be holding our staff training day during the Easter break, with event details coming soon once numbers are confirmed.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you soon!!
