Today is Chryston and Muirhead Gala Day in the Moor Park 11am - 4pm. Gala Queen and Assistants Parade 1pm. Lots of stalls and performances on stage! Have fun everyone!

Secondly we would like to thank YOU, everyone who came along today! Also to the many Volunteers and Stallholders who all helped make 2015 Gala such a success! Thirdly we would like to thank all the local shops and businesses who generously sponsored us and to those who donated to our raffle, because without your support and generosity we would not be able to hold such a large and successful event.

Firstly we would like to thank our Gala Queen and Maids from last year (2014) Katie McGovern, Bethany Nicol and Roisin Ryan, and now we welcome our 2015 Gala Queen Kenzie Martin and Gala Maids Carmen Milne and Niamh Whelehan, thank you girls we hope you all had a great day today!

Hi everyone we are all looking forward to 2015 Gala today!!! Please join the Gala Queen and Maids Parade leaving KSC / Co-Op at 1.15pm with Pipe Band, Dancers, RAF and residents. Crowning will take place at 1.30 on stage in Pivot Centre where there will be many stallholders with variety of goods from jewellery, balloons,crafts,sweets and cakes! The cafe is also open for snacks. We are selling children's wristbands £4 for under age 4 and under and £5 for age 5 and over, bouncy castle and games down in games hall. Trampolines and Bungee jumping, climbing wall and lots more!

We are proud to present our 2015 Moodiesburn Gala Queen is.... ..Kenzie Martin, she lives in Moodiesburn and loves being with her family and friends. Kenzie's hobbies are dancing and shopping! Well done Kenzie, we all look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
We are also proud to present our 2015 Moodiesburn Gala Maids are....Niamh Whelehan, she also lives in Moodiesburn and says this is a great way for her to end her Primary School years! Niamh loves being with her family and going to concerts with her friends and her hobby is dancing! Well done Niamh, we all look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
and....Carmen Milne who also lives in Moodiesburn and is very excited to be a 2015 Gala Maid and very happy to be part of this year's Gala! Carmen loves being with her family and friends and her hobbies are acting, cycling and singing! Well done Carmen we all look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
