📣 Team Update | West of Scotland Development

We’re delighted to announce two exciting additions to our Development Team!

👏 Eilidh MacGilvray has been promoted from Community Coach to Assistant Development Manager. Hailing from Aviemore, Eilidh has already proven herself to be a fantastic coach, and many of our members will know her for the energy and commitment she brings every day. We’re also delighted to have secured the expertise of the Glasgow Warriors back rower as she steps into this new role.

🙌 We’re also pleased to welcome Andy Evans as our new Development Manager, taking over the reins from Steven Meenagh. Andy returns to Scotland after 12 years away, bringing a wealth of experience from his work with London Scottish, Imperial College London, and most recently London Welsh as Assistant Coach. Alongside this, he also leads the Norwegian National Men’s XVs team.

🗣️ “I’m extremely excited to be joining the team at West of Scotland. It is clear to see that this is a club with bags of history, some fantastic volunteers, and I can’t wait to contribute to what is already a thriving community.”

Day 1 of our West of Scotland Easter Rugby Camp done and what a fantastic start! 💪🏉

We welcomed nearly 60 brilliant young players onto the 4G today, all bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a great attitude from the first whistle to the last. Despite some typically Scottish inclement conditions 🌧️

Huge credit to our incredible coaching team who kept standards high, sessions engaging, and smiles on faces throughout 👏

Looking forward to building on this tomorrow if today is anything to go by, we’re in for a cracking week!
