Another milestone hit by our Catrina!

Over 10kg down ⬇️ since she started with me in September.

For anyone that knows her, you'll know how hard shes worked. Regularly attending classes in the gym, always pushing herself during her solo sessions, coming in stupid early to make sure she gets her workout done before work on those busy weeks and always eager to try new things and learn as much as she can during her PT sessions 🏋‍♀️

In addition to losing over 10kg, she’s getting stronger every week and she's fitter than ever - recently running 5km for charity 🏃‍♀️ and has already booked her next event.

One of my favourite things about working with Catrina is that we have had a very similar experience when it comes to our health and fitness journeys. We both know what its like to live life in a big body, feeling restricted and limited. We've adapted exercises to suit, modified workouts and as our body changed, we've modified and adapted again. I've loved watching her progress in the gym. Here's a few examples:

✨️Not being out of breath when going up the stairs.

✨️Increasing the box jump and successfully landing it.

✨️Being able to do leg raises and getting my two legs up at the same time when doing them.

✨️Managing to do a full push up

✨️ Putting my body in new positions when trying new class

✨️ I used to struggle doing a sit up and could only do crunches but now doing sit ups with weights 🤯

✨️Beating my PB on race night (45:33)

I have a feeling shes not quite done yet... can't wait to see what's still to come... stay tuned!

Most people quit right before the breakthrough.

After getting off to a great start, Lorraine has been bouncing around the same 2 kgs since January.
Every week she was doing everything right — tracking her food, getting her movement in, drinking her water, staying disciplined.

And every week the scale looked like this:

71kgs... 72kgs... 71kgs…

This is the exact moment when most people give up.
Your brain starts saying “Why am I even trying? What’s the point?”

And suddenly those old habits start looking really tempting again.

We have been focusing on those non scale victories to keep her motivated.

✨️Fitness improving
✨️Strength increasing
✨️Clothes feeling looser
✨️Making more sensible choices on nights out

But this week we had some movement in the scales...

She broke past 71kgs and hit 68kgs — bringing her to under 11 stone which is a goal we've been working toward for a while now.

And we didn’t drastically change her diet or workout plan.
No detox.
No slashing calories.
No intense cardio.

She just stayed consistent long enough for her body to catch up.

Oh and this brings her past the 5kg milestone since she started 😊

Progress isn’t a straight line.
Sometimes it’s just doing the boring things right — over and over — until the dam finally breaks.

So if you’re in that “nothing is happening” phase, I promise you:

The breaking comes before the breakthrough.

What can I say about Sinead? 🤔

I think these pictures say it all tbh!

She's went from 88kgs to 81kgs and gained a whole load of confidence along the way and I am absolutely buzzing for her 😊

Im sure Sinead will be the first to admit she doesn't like a weigh in... or a weekly check in... and she certainly doesn't like tracking her food 🤣🤣 so other than seeing her performance improve in the gym, it's been hard to track her progress.

I am convinced she just enjoys building the suspense so that when she eventually does her weigh ins and progress pics I'm like 🤯🤯🤯

But honestly... just check that second picture out... look at confidence ✨️ she is absolutely glowing 😍

Everyone, meet Edel!

Edel came to me a couple months ago looking to lose some weight, feel fitter and just feel better about herself in general.

She had explained how shes had many attempts at the gym but just couldn't stick with it for long enough to see proper results.

Today, we are celebrating her losing over 5kgs, which is bloody amazing!

Ive said this before though and I'll say it on repeat.. THE SCALE DOESNT ALWAYS TELL THE FULL STORY!

Edels measurements are dropping so quickly and the change in her body shape is unreal. I only wish she could see the difference everyone else does!

The biggest change though? Her attitude towards training and the confidence shes gained by pushing herself out of her comfort zone 😊

She's now noticed that shes capable of so much more than she realised, always pushing herself to lift heavier or increase the intensity of those HIIT workouts, just because she CAN! She's definitely feeling fitter and stronger and is finally enjoying having the gym as part of her routine... its safe to say she is officially LOCKED IN 🔒

But my favourite thing about working with Edel... those random messages I get when shes just unlocked a new non scale victory 😊 especially those 'IYKYK' non scale victories that very few people would get if you told them about it... those are my fave moments... talking about them and celebrating them because they are important and this is what keeps us motivated to keep going 💪

I absolutely love being part of Edels journey and watching her progress. Can't wait to see what's to come next...
