Glasgow Slow Down
Glasgow Slow Down is a temporary public artwork and performance made by artist Jacqueline Donachie in collaboration with 100 cyclists on 13th April 2014
The performance event from 9am on Sunday 13th April 2014 will result in a city-wide ribbon of colour, made by the cyclists as they travel slowly through Glasgow, coming together in George Square at 10am. The drawing will be made on the road using a small device attached to each bike that leaves behind a single fine line of coloured chalk. To make the chalk lines, cyclists must ride very slowly, th

To all those wonderful colourful artists on bikes, please join us on Friday 25 July 4-6pm at tokyobike, Glasgow to celebrate the launch of a new print edition and film by Jacqueline Donachie, commissioned in response to ‘Slow Down’ a series of public art events held in Huntly, Melbourne and most recently in Glasgow.
There is still time to catch Glasgow Slow Down Print Room at South Block this week before it ends this Friday 9th May! Open daily 9 - 5pm.

Cyclists cover the city in colour for Glasgow Slow Down Glasgow Slow Down saw the city covered in coloured chalk, much to the bemusement and confusion of Glasgow residents.

What an amazing day! We did it! Glasgow is a city of wonderful creative people who made today happen, we have lots of you to thank...
