It was fantastic to see so much interest in Clyde Cycle Park last week when we hosted clubs from across the West of Scotland to discuss the development of the site and plans for the future.

As you may have seen pre-Christmas, progress on the circuit was expedited by the contractors thanks to fair weather in November, and with some snagging to follow and floodlight installation in late February, we’re very close to having an operational facility this year.

We are hoping your club might be interested in being involved in activity at Clyde Cycle Park in 2026, whether its weekday or weekend racing opportunities, training sessions for your club or development clusters for youth races.

Clyde Cycle Park are keen to now commence discussions with clubs to begin programming activity on the circuit, so we would be grateful if you can join us at the Emirates Arena on Thursday 22nd January from 7pm to begin looking at how we can all work together to make the most of CCP in 2026.

Entries are now open for the 2025 Youth Tour of Scotland!

We want to give riders, families and teams travelling to the event as much notice as possible of their acceptance into the event, therefore entries will be selected as per criteria set out in the British Youth Circuit Series regulations at an early initial closing date of 4th February.

Any categories that have availability at that stage will then be reopened, and riders will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

As well as the Scottish Cycling Conference and Awards, the AGM takes place on Saturday at the Inchyra Grange.

To vote at the AGM all clubs are asked to complete the Club Representative Nomination Form to tell us who from your club is attending. Club Representative Nomination Form must be returned to Scottish Cycling no later than 10am, Thursday 14 November 2024.

For those unable to attend Forms of Proxy must be returned to Scottish Cycling no later than 10am, Thursday 14 November 2024.
