⚽️ Bridgend FC 2017s had a fantastic day competing at the EDFC Summer Festival! ☀️☔️

The players enjoyed a brilliant day of football, fun, and healthy competition. It was a great opportunity for our players to challenge themselves, continue their development, and most importantly, enjoy the game.

Thank you to EDFC for organising an excellent festival and to all the parents and supporters for their encouragement throughout the day.

🔴 Finlay – A few well taken goals, worked hard for his team and put on a captains display 💪⚫️🔴⚽️ Well done, Finlay! 👍

Hard shift today for the Reds, but we move on quickly with plenty more football still to come before the summer break. ⚫️🔴⚽️

A tough day at the office for the Whites as well. We held our own for long spells of the match, and the boys worked hard for each other from start to finish. Plenty of positives to take forward. ⚫️🔴⚽️

We're at the EDFC Summer Festival tomorrow before turning our attention to our final game of the season next week, where we'll be looking to finish on a high. 💪⚽️

⭐ Player of the Match ⭐

🔴 Finn – Gave 100% effort and played at 100mph for the entire match. Exactly the attitude we're looking for. Well done, Finn! 👍

⚪️ John – Another solid performance at right-back. Made some vital clearances when needed, helped drive us forward, and showed great character after taking a sore one in a challenge before getting straight back up and carrying on. Well done, John! 👏⚽️

A great game for the neutrals this weekend, with the Reds involved in a very tight contest between two evenly matched teams. There were some excellent performances on both sides throughout.

The Whites delivered a fantastic performance, starting strongly and never looking back. From back to front, they played with confidence, showing crisp, precise passing and great teamwork across the pitch.

⭐ Player of the Match ⭐

🔴 Freddie – Scored a couple of goals, showed excellent movement throughout, and led by example with an outstanding captain’s performance. Well done, Freddie!

⚪️ John / Theo / Cammy – There were plenty of players who could have been recognised this weekend, but these three stood out with performances that helped shape the game. Well done, boys!

A tough match against a very good opponent for the Reds. All the kids gave 100% and that is all we ask 💪

There are areas we know we can improve on, players to come back in, and we will keep working hard in training 🔴⚫️⚽️

🔴 Yusuf – 100% effort, crunching tackles and lots of nice passes. Well done Yusuf!

Another tight match for the Whites this week. A close game with plenty of chances, but we just weren’t as clinical as we needed to be in front of goal.

The progress in our teamwork, passing, and positioning continues to show every week, and the future is looking very bright for this group. 👏⚽️
