I used to think I needed more discipline.
More discipline to eat less, to ignore hunger, to "be good" after Christmas, birthdays, or nights out.
Looking back, the problem wasn't a lack of discipline; the problem was that I had absolutely no idea who to listen to.
For years, I followed whatever fitness advice was doing the rounds online. One person would tell me one thing. Another person would tell me the complete opposite.
I'd feel like I was making progress, then I'd see a post telling me I was eating the wrong thing, training the wrong way, or wasting my time. It was exhausting.
At one point, lunch was literally a few crackers with a bit of butter on them and an apple.
I was dancing regularly. I was lifting weights. I was trying hard. But I was constantly tired.
I felt guilty after Christmas. Guilty after birthdays. Guilty after eating foods I enjoyed.
And it never crossed my mind that maybe the problem wasn't me.
Maybe the problem was that I wasn't giving my body enough fuel.
Everything started to change when I stopped chasing random advice online and started learning what actually works. I focused on getting more protein, I broadened my diet instead of restricting it. I stopped thinking healthy eating had to be salads, expensive ingredients, or whatever trend was popular that week.
I found foods I genuinely enjoyed eating that kept me full, gave me energy, and supported my training.
I took it a step further and got qualified as a Personal Trainer because I was fed up with the guesswork. I wanted facts, not opinions. And the results were bigger than I expectedā¦
I built the muscle I'd always wanted in my biceps, quads, and glutes.
I became stronger in the gym and far more confident using weights.
I stopped feeling anxious around food, panicking after weekends away, birthdays, or celebrations. I gained more energy and more confidence.
And I stopped judging my body purely on how it looked and started appreciating what it could do like 100kg squats and 50kg bench press (numbers I never thought I would achieve!)
The reason I'm sharing this is because I know there are women in Glastonbury & Street who are stuck where I was.
Trying everything. Listening to everyone. Feeling confused. Feeling frustrated.
Maybe your body's changing. Maybe you're dealing with hormonal changes. Maybe you've spent years trying different diets, plans, and advice from well-meaning friends.
Wondering why nothing seems to work for you.
If this is you, I want you to know that your body probably isn't the problem- the guesswork might be.
So I'd like to offer 10 women a free consultation.
We'll sit down, get to know each other, work out what's actually holding you back, debunk some of the myths that might be confusing you, and give you clarity on what a realistic plan could look like moving forward.
No pressure. Just honest advice and a clear direction.
If you'd like one of those 10 spots, comment ME below and I'll send you the details.
