Match Report — Game Week 1 Warriors Football Association

The Fryers got their season underway with Game Week 1 seeing us make the trip over the bridge to Hamilton, where we were welcomed with open arms by FC 82 Much

Spirits were high, but the sky was dull. 82 Much took the lead with a great ball over the top to their flying winger, who showed composure to slot the ball into the bottom corner.

Not long after, a frustrated 35-yard thundercunt of a kick from our Callum found the underside of the crossbar and nestled into the net, bringing the first half to a close at 1–1.

The second half turned out to be duller than the sky, with both sides struggling to find that winning moment. A few wasteful Fryers opportunities leave us gutted to be heading home sharing the points, when we felt all three were there for the taking.

A massive thank you to FC 82 Much for their hospitality. Good luck with your upcoming fixtures, and we look forward to welcoming you to sunny Fife in the future.

The Fife Fryers got their pre-season concluded with a run out against Fit-Ball United down at the Fleet Grounds in Rosyth.

Thanks to the Home team for hosting, we wish them all the best in their maiden campaign in the Warriors Leagues 🤞👏
