Welcome to the Badgerettes page. We are a ladies rugby team from Brockworth in Gloucester.
Operating as usual

Time to dust off those boots!

🖤🤍

Today is a sad day but it is also a day to celebrate the life of a great man, a true gentleman and father figure to many of us. A teacher, a shoulder to cry on and a dear friend who helped us ladies, (and the men) be the very best we could be on and off the pitch. To Mark and your beautiful family, we send love and condolences as we lay you to rest and remember you not just today but always. Thank you for everything you did for us all, for believing in us. We will miss you. ❤️

BLRFC are sad to announce the passing of our much loved coach Mark Barnard. Mark passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family this evening, after a long battle with cancer. Mark dedicated a lot of his time to BRFC but our fondest memories are of his work with the ladies section, he dedicated a lot of time and effort to our team. Thank you Mark for everything, we love you and may you rest in peace now pain free. Sending our love and thoughts to Christine and all Mark's family.

Brockworth Ladies RFC would like to send their thoughts, love and condolences to the family and friends of our own Paige McCormack 💔 We are shocked and saddened and will miss you dearly. Such a beautiful soul and a bloody good rugby player!! One of our originals from the start so fast and never afraid to get stuck in 👊 instead of flowers we will donate money to raise awareness for NAPS in memory of Paige from all of us your team but above all your friends. R.I.P Paige we love and miss you and hope you are now pain free and happy. ❤️

In light of recent comments surrounding female rugby players modelling playing kit we feel it is time to come together as a community and challenge stereotypes of women playing male-dominated sports as well as raising the profile of women in the sport.
From Thursday we’re asking female players from grassroots to international level to join together with by sharing a post of you in your playing kit - make up/no make up, hair done or messy - literally however you feel most comfortable!
Whether you take a photo at training or at home it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you are enough and everyone is welcome, current or ex-players. We are one beautiful, strong community.
Our current climate makes this even more relevant and urgent for everyone to get involved if they can.
• Words from player Vicki Rush •

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE LEGEND THAT IS MARK!! WE HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING DAY, YOU DESERVE IT COACH! ❤️🎉🍺⚫⚪🦡 # # #

Evening all, come and join us for our fitness classes at BRFC every Thursday at 6:30pm socially distanced and hand sanitizer provided. Message for more info.
*** Re-Opening Plans ***
As recently announced the Club intends to re-open on Saturday, 4th July and it will need everyone’s support to do so in a way that is safe for us all.
The Club will adopt a phased approach, starting by re-opening of the beer garden and outside spaces only and, if proven workable and safe, moving onto re-opening of the indoor space. This approach is being taken to ensure the Club can meet government guidance and protect members and staff.
So with effect from Saturday 4th July, the Club will operate as follows:-
◼️Members Only (no guests or applications for new membership at this time)
◻️Outside Consumption Only
◼️Reduced Hours:-
Saturday 3-7
Sunday 12-6
◼️Sign in via Membership Database
◻️Separate Entry and Exit points (main door entrance & fire door exit)
◼️Queued One Way Service System
◻️Maximum 6 alcoholic drinks per visit to the bar
◼️Access to Clubhouse Toilets via the Changing Rooms (exit via fire door)
◻️One in one out toilet policy
The Club will review these operating measures regularly in the hope it can return to some form of normality soon. However during this strange time for all of us, please remember that not a single member of bar staff, the management team, the coaching staff are suddenly an expert in disease control, politics or even all 43 pages of the government guidance that has been issued.
Collectively let just apply some common sense and remember that when the Club isn’t exactly how you remember it, or hoped it would be....No, the bar staff can’t just move some tables together, No, we can't turn a blind eye (you know, just this once)...And negative comments on social media won't help.
All members have a part to play in making this phased approach work. Please adhere to the guidance that has been put in place and encourage others to do the same. The licensing authority have notified us that we will be visited during this time of restriction. If we are not complying with the guidance they not only have the power to force us to close but they could also remove our licence.
Things will get back to normal, just not straight away. Please be patient with us and let’s all contribute to getting the Club thriving again in a safe and sustainable way.
Ta.

Hey sister.
Wear the shorts.
I know, I know...
You see the dimples and the cellulite.
Who cares.
Wear the shorts.
Hey sister.
Wear the sports bra.
I know, I know.
You see the less than perfect abs.
You see the rolls.
Who cares.
Wear the sports bra.
Hey sister.
Wear the whatever.
I know, I know.
You see the imperfections.
You see the curves.
You see the scars.
You see the older more wrinkled more mature version of yourself.
Who cares.
Wear the whatever.
But hey, sister.
I see the beautiful you.
And I see a woman who deserves to feel beautiful in whatever she chooses to wear.
Confidence looks beautiful on you, sis.
Wear it proudly.
And when I see you show up, confidently, as yourself, I will be the girl to cheer you on and tell you that confidence looks gorgeous on you.
Wear it, sister.
Own it, imperfectly, beautifully.
Just wear it.

Emily, Sara and wayne will be completing a 25 mile walk tomorrow for Pancreatic Cancer. No matter how large or small of a donation it all counts, So if you can please go on the link below and Sponsor.
Wayne, Sara and Ems Steps for Pancreatic Cancer Walking, Keeping fit and taking in our beautiful countryside all while raising money for charity. We can not think of anything better to do during lockdown.

Evening all, tonight we got together (6 of us and kept 2m apart) and ran 2 mini fitness sessions hosted by our coach Emily. We've all over indulged being at home for the last couple of months and with lockdown easing slightly, why not join us every Thursday for some fun and distanced group fitness (no rugby balls involved)? Please message if you're interested so we can plan the session around how many wish to take part start times TBC ..... It felt good to be back! ❤️🦡

Evening everyone!!
Wow it's been a long time! I hope everyone is well and keeping safe.
Good news, with lockdown starting to ease we can begin some small group fitness sessions! So we are going to start a fitness session from Thursday 11th June. Depening on the interest will depend on times as it will be a max of 5 people a session (we will run multiple sessions if needed). These sessions will be purely fitness, with no rugby ball or other equipment involved (except cones and ladders). So if any one you know wants to join in they are more than welcome, just let us know before the session.
Remember the club will not be open for any facilities, so make sure you bring plenty of fluids!
Who's in?
