This morning I am off to teach Pilates at a private event in this dreamy farmhouse 🤩

When you quit your day job and do what really makes your heart sing 💕 you may say silly things, such as 'I really don't know how I managed to squeeze in work before.'

After hustling in the recruitment industry for 13 years, I finally hung up my recruitment hat last month.

On my way to Portugal last week to host my first ever retreat,
I was sat next to a lovely couple in their late 60's that had a BnB in the Gower, regular Portugal visitors as two of their children and their grandchild live here.
They offered me a ride as we were heading in the same direction (Lagos) and they dropped me to meet my friend. They wouldn't even take a soft mint off me as a thank you.

We exchanged numbers and they very kindly offered to introduce and connect me to people and resources, both in Portugal and the beautiful Gower, insisting I take Winnie for a little summer trip.

When they dropped me off and we said goodbye, Pippa said - by the way, Portugal looks great on you 💫
And I know, it really does, because it feels great ☺️🧘🏽‍♀️

Ever since then, it's been a door flung wide open to connecting with even more incredible, happy and humble people 💫
living out their soul purpose and being brave and bold.

Feeling extremely grateful for clear messages and the very special group of people that have come together, via my first ever wellness retreat 🌸 I love you all!

When the food shop arrives 😄

I would love to be able to visit the farmers market every week, but it's just not realistic.

I arrange two Waitrose deliveries a month (weirdly Waitrose is cheaper for my shop than Sainsburys) and I don't know if anyone has noticed how happy Waitrose employees are? Our delivery driver has become a pal 😄

I then top up when I can (and often when I see anywhere appetizing enough to purchase ingredients from) - to keep the cupboards stocked with balanced, fresh and whole foods 💚

As you can see, I do not limit myself to what I am 'allowed' to eat as I love ice cream and dark chocolate too much to not enjoy them.
Why punish yourself!

Finding the balance with quantities is often a challenge I see with the clients I work with.
I encourage them to be really mindful when they are enjoying food and aim to stop before feeling full. With this you avoid any fullness slumps and you also consume less ~ waste less ~ spend less!
