A year of ups and downs having taken a few months off earlier this year but the final physique has come along nicely, from being near 100kg at points and having to pull myself away from some bad habits to being back at my best.

Some of you may not like hearing this but youโre simply better off learning more about nutrition and consuming cleaner calories than looking for the easy fix with meal replacements,
As the moment you switch back to solid foods you will return to the poor habits of old. This is ultimately the sales model of such programs getting fast results through restrictive means to entice more people in, but then rebounding the second you stop and again relying on meal replacements,
Not only that but the nutrients in meal replacements or protein shakes in general has much less Bio availability meaning your body struggles to take the nutrients out of the liquids and break them down into useful compounds, which can also lead to organ damage.
Ultimately all Iโm suggesting is to learn more about nutrition and simply eat better over a consistent period of time, this often doesnโt need to be restrictive in any way either.

Do you also find yourself working around screens particularly late on at night?
As someone who loves video games I find this one effects me massively, but screens are actually detrimental to your brains ability to produce the necessary sleep hormone melatonin.
Which essentially means your brain is struggle to switch from being awake to resting and recovering, we should all aim to get our screens off at least 1 hour before sleep to achieve a deeper more restful sleep.
And given my previous posts on sleep we should all know how important that is to our body at this point, so get those screens off!

Do you find yourself sleeping for less than 7-9 hours per night?
Unfortunately this is not enough for your brain to recover from the day and here is why.
Every human (minus 5% of the population) required between 7-9 hours of sleep per night just to reach the deeper stages of sleep (REM Sleep) this is the stage that actually allows your brain to rest and recover which we all need to tackle low mood, low motivation and just general fatigue.
Sleep is just as important for your bodyโs recover also as Iโm sure we are all aware but the main benefits affect your brain and function more than anything.
The best tip to improve your sleep is to try set yourself a schedule of going to bed and waking up at the same time each day.
Give it a go for a week and see how much better you feel!

Iโm sure weโve all heard the saying โbreakfast is the most important meal of the dayโ but Iโm here to tell you why that is so.
It is as simple as needing to refuel your body for the day ahead, not only giving boosts to performance focus and energy levels, but also as breaking your overnight fast actually releases endorphins in your brain which help reduce stress.
This being a natural reaction left over from our Hunter gatherer days, starving your body for long periods of time can not only result in low mood and stress but also worse recovery and even lessen your bodyโs fat burning capabilities.
Which is why we should all aim to at least eat something in the mornings even if you donโt like eating earlier in the day, this can all be changed with simple habits

Simply You Cannot, sorry to say I have not yet found the secret even the scientists canโt find.
But what I can tell you is to stop looking for shortcuts, be consistent, work hard and eat well in time your results will come.
Too many people search for the shortcuts to everything in life, instead of googling questions like the one above, either find yourself a good PT/Coach or learn how to eat well and train hard.
That is the true answer to removing your bodyโs fat storage and eventually growing muscle.
