We are a friendly community art group and hope you enjoy seeing our posts. If you're interested in joining the art group please contact Fair Shares.
We do not promote or sell personal work, so any posts of this nature will be removed. The Fair Shares Art Group is a friendly, inclusive, fine arts and crafts community. Participants are encouraged to be individual and to develop their creative skills at a pace that will allow their confidence to flourish. Our art group is free to participants. It exists through funding and donations which allow u
s to work in a direction that can help us to be self sustainable by making and selling our crafts and by sharing our skills with others. Many of our projects are focused on up-cycling and recycling, including furniture, clothes and soft furnishings. We also enjoy fine art, such as learning painting and drawing skills and offer a very broad range of art practice. The Fair Shares Art Group has also achieved some successful public art projects which include the mosaic archway and the tractor tyre signage at St. James City Farm, showing the great level of skill of our wonderful participants. We are following the guidance set out in the government's Covid19 road map, as our participants begin meeting up again. Art activities to enjoy are also regularly added onto the Fairshares Community Timebanks page. We are operating a waiting list if you would like to join the art group. Please send us a message or get in touch with Fairshares Community Timebanks.
