You wouldn’t want to be an hour late for the last session before the Easter holidays 😂 (have I got that right? Clock changes confuse the heck out of me!!)

Speaking of holidays, we are
OPEN tomorrow 29th March
CLOSED Easter Sunday 5th April
CLOSED Easter holiday 12th April (they want to use the holiday to work on the hall I think)
OPEN As Normal from 19th April

Quick reminder there is no training this weekend 1st Feb 2026 as there are panto performances before and after when we would be using the hall. Enjoy the weekend off!

Hi everyone. We took a straw poll at this weekends session and between trips away for half term, work, and birthdays (multiple!) we’ve taken the decision to close this Sunday.

NO TRAINING SUNDAY 26th OCTOBER

Sorry if you voted or would have voted to stay open but we’ll be back 2nd November. Enjoy the weekend (but keep up your stretching and practise!!).

After further investigation and reflection, thinking back to previous years, we have decided that unfortunately we will BE CLOSED THIS WEEK (21ST SEPT) due to complications in the local area due to the road closures for the Cheltenham half marathon,

Apologies for any confusion and inconvenience. It’s particularly annoying so soon after the summer break but we will be back to normal the following week.

WE’RE BACK THIS SUNDAY!! 7th September.

After a summer break, we’re building up to our return this week.

Newcomers are always welcome, message for more information but will summarise below, you’ll find a friendly face to welcome you and a safe environment (any working with anyone else is managed and phased in).

Location: Prestbury Hall, Bouncers lane, Prestbury, Cheltenham (opposite st Mary’s school, next door to the petrol station)

Timings: 10:45 arrival for practise/play and chat, 11:00 start until 12:20-12:30 beginners, 12:45 advanced

Other stuff: drinks bottle, loose clothing and clean trainers (barefoot also possible, no just socks)

First lesson couple of lessons free as a taster, then payg.

Last session of before summer hols tomorrow. It’s going to be a hot one so don’t forget your drink and a small towel is a good idea too. We’ll focus on remembering katas and blocks and won’t go too crazy.

Summer Closures for our Sunday sessions at Bouncers Lane.

Hi everyone, we remain open through the hot weather for some sweaty sessions!! but as we’re now into July and school/family holidays are coming up we’ve taken a look at the school calendars and our summer break will take place as follows:

Last session: Sunday 13th July
Closed from: Sunday 20th July to 3rd September
First session back: Sunday 10th September

Lots to still do before we break and Black belt gradings not long after we return so plenty to be focussing on. As usual, any questions over the summer (sticking points when practising etc) just message, I’ll be keeping up my exercise and practise programme.

I know we’ve spoken to most of you this morning already but sorry to say that the theatre group had their finale last night and left the hall in such a terrible mess that we have had to cancel todays session.

I’m heading home now for a stretch and a cup of tea.

Hi everyone! Only a few days until we return from our summer break.

Classes for all ages (5-95!) and abilities resume at Prestbury Hall, Bouncers Lane, Cheltenham, 10:45 for 11:00 start until 12:30 this Sunday 8th September through to Christmas.

New comers always welcome, first 2 classes are free tasters, please bring a drink and wear comfortable clothing for a fun way to get fit, gain confidence and satisfaction of learning what you can achieve when you put your mind and body to it!
