Incredibly proud of the Golborne Parkside U11s girls! 💚💛🩷 They left it all on the pitch today at the RFL end of season festival at Victoria Park.

There was absolutely brilliant rugby on display as the team soaked up every minute of the final festival of the year. It was also fantastic to share the day with all the other teams involved. Seeing so many girls out there playing, competing, and loving Rugby League is exactly what it’s all about! 👏🔥

What a return to action for the Golborne Parkside Pirates U11s Girls! 🏴‍☠️🏉

Yesterday was our first game back after the summer break, and what an incredible performance it was against a very tough Warrington side. The girls have grown so much this year, and that development is really shining through as we head into the back end of the season. We are so proud of them and can clearly see their progress in every single game.

The teamwork yesterday was outstanding across the board. In attack, we saw some fantastic team and individual try’s , but the defensive effort was just as impressive. The girls showed brilliant line speed and put in a massive defensive shift against a strong opposition.

Every single player stepped up after the break, making it incredibly difficult for both the coaches and the parents to select the individual awards.

What a way to sign off before the summer break! 🏉☀️

Yesterday, our Golborne Parkside U11s Girls took on Portico, and they delivered without a doubt their best performance of the season so far.
With a lot of the squad already away enjoying their holidays, we went into this game extremely low on numbers and with zero subs. Playing up the hill in the first half really took it out of the team, but they dug deep, worked incredibly hard for each other, and completely reaped the rewards in the second half. ⛰️💪

Honestly, as a coach, the only advice I could give them at certain points was simply to go out and do exactly the same thing. Their line speed was phenomenal, the attacking structure was brilliant, communication was on point, and the collective teamwork was just fantastic to watch. 👏

That incredible team effort was clear for everyone to see and translated directly into the tries scored:

🏉 Golborne Parkside U11s Girls vs. Halton Farnworth Hornets 🏉

What an unbelievable effort from the girls today playing away in the sweltering heat! ☀️

We were down on numbers and had very limited interchanges, but every single player put in a massive shift. When the conditions are that tough, you really learn what players are made of, and today we learned a lot. The girls showed absolutely nothing but heart, bravery, and a “never say die” attitude from the first whistle to the last.

To every girl who took to the pitch today: the coaching team is bursting with pride. If we could have handed out an award to every single one of you, it would have been completely deserved!

Congratulations to a very tough Halton Farnworth Hornets team—you girls are absolutely smashing it! A huge thank you to the Halton coaching staff as well for helping to create such a great environment today where all the girls could develop, learn, and most importantly, have fun.

He might be stressed about facing England in the World Cup Quarter Finals, but we think he’s secretly sweating over the real clash of the weekend! 🥶🔥

Our girls are hitting the road this weekend for a massive away fixture. The preparation is done, the focus is locked in, and we are ready to bring the energy! 🏴‍☠️💪

This is what a thriving sport looks like! 🏉✨ We have a massive passion and incredible energy for Girls’ Rugby League at the grassroots level, and this image says it all.

Our U11s Festival this morning was absolutely epic. We were proud to welcome 150 passionate players, spanning 12 different clubs with a total of 16 teams, all playing with incredible spirit. Seeing so many young athletes, travelling from right across the North West and Yorkshire to come together and compete, was truly fantastic.

You all played your hearts out and absolutely smashed it! The future of the game is shining bright.

A truly massive, heart-felt THANK YOU to our incredible army of volunteers. From parking to pitch-side, this massive event wouldn’t have happened without your tireless hard work and organization. And to all the coaches – your dedication to growing these girls’ skills and confidence is unmatched. You all deserve a huge round of applause 👏 and, more importantly, a very well-earned rest after this morning.

Keep on smashing it, girls! We are already looking forward to the next one!

Tough day at the office yesterday, but incredibly proud of the effort! 💪🏉

It wasn’t the result we wanted against a strong Ince Rose Bridge side, but the girls dug deep and left absolutely everything out on the pitch. There was some fantastic skill on display from both teams, making it a great contest from the first whistle to the last.
