Game Day 1 - Falkirk (H)

It was finally here. First game of the new season, and first league game at 9’s.

After a summer of change and plenty of hard work, the boys were ready for it. With all their preparation in the heads and legs, the kids, coaches and families were excited to finally get the new campaign underway.

A superb team display throughout from the Juveniles. Top performances all over the park with some individual brilliance.

Thanks to Falkirk Foundation 2015 Red’s for a good, entertaining game, played in the right manner and spirit from all the boys. A credit to Graham and the other coaches. Shout out to the GK for 4/5 top class saves. That one clawed from the corner first half…🤌🏻

⚫️🟠NEW SEASON🟠⚫️

A new season begins for Syngenta Juveniles 2015’s — and with it comes an exciting new chapter in the boys’ football journey. 💪⚽️

This season, the boys embrace the challenge of 9-a-side football.

There have also been some changes within the squad over the summer, with new faces joining the group and the squad coming together in a slightly different shape. What has been fantastic to see, however, is just how quickly our new-look squad has come together. 🤝

The unity, friendships and team spirit that have already been fostered have been brilliant to watch. The boys have embraced one another, welcomed the changes and are already showing the togetherness that will be so important as we take on this next challenge.

There is a long season ahead, plenty to learn and undoubtedly plenty of challenges along the way — but we couldn’t be more excited to see what this group can achieve together.

Let’s make it a special one lads! 💪🔥

We look forward to welcome our friends Falkirk Foundation 2015 Red’s to Graeme High on Saturday. Graham and the boys (a few old friends in amongst them) will be a challenge as we kick off the new campaign.

Something a wee bit different for the the kids at training last night.

A big thanks to Nicola Marshall on running a team building exercise for the kids. The boys know a wee bit more about each other now and with their agreed objectives for the period ahead, it gives them something to aim for.

A busy week ahead…

Thank you to Alloa Saints Football Club for hosting the Allan McGillivray Memorial Football Festival this morning. It’s an event we don’t miss as it’s an exceptionally well run festival and always competitive.

Our boys showed a bit of everything this morning. Great team work, quality on the ball, brilliant passing, patterns/passages of play and individual skill in abundance. When required, the sleeves got rolled up, grit and bite across the park and huge character from every kid to grind out a result.

6 wins out of 6. 17 goals scored and only conceded 4, plus a few of clean sheets for the goalies.

Great preparation for the league starting next week.

Our planned friendly this morning was cancelled unfortunately. Didn’t stop the boys from coming in for a high energy training session in prep for tomorrow.

We’re really looking forward to attending the Alloa Saints Football Club Alan McGillivray Memorial Football Festival tomorrow. Always a top event and one we never miss. 🧡🖤🧡🖤

Lovely morning for it with both teams putting on a display for everyone watching.

For Syngenta, after a good week of training it was brilliant to see the kids put a lot of the work into practice on game day. Loads of quality on the ball, chances created, great attitudes and work rates all across the park. The boys are really settling into 9’s and the formations/game plans were asking of them.
