Our penultimate pre-season friendly today saw the U14 Tilletts take on a very tough Boston United side, who will also be in our division this season.

Despite going a goal behind, the girls stuck at it and played with real intent from the very start. 💪⚽️

It was a really difficult decision to pick a Player of the Match, but Chlo Wilko of Wilko Football Coaching selected Alyssa for her constant battling and positive, driving runs.

The coaches selected Willow for her efforts in trying to pick apart the Boston defence something she managed to do successfully on numerous occasions.👏

The game finished 3-1 to the Tilletts! 🔵⚫️🔵

One more friendly to go before the season gets underway, as we take on Keelby next week in our final pre-season game.

What an incredible achievement by our Clee Town Ladies Under 14's! 🙌

They completed 4 hours of running, covering a combined distance equivalent to 4 London Marathons between everyone involved! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💪

And the best part… they’ve hit £1,000 raised! 🎉👏

The money will be split 50/50, with half going to their chosen charity, Race Against Dementia. 💙

A massive well done to everyone who took part, donated, supported and cheered them on. What a fantastic team effort! 👏

🛡️ Eira - Brilliant communication at the back and great work closing down the attackers. You picked up a couple of knocks but still carried on and never gave up. You held the defensive line really well and caught the opposition offside on several occasions. Well done, Eira - keep it going! 💪

⚡ Piper - Absolute machine today! 🔥 You never stopped working and stepped into a few different positions as we were short on players. You were incredible in the CDM role, driving forward with the ball and tracking back to defend. You also showed great movement out wide and in attack, creating some great chances to score. Keep that energy going, Piper! 💪

A cup upset in the cruelest of ways for our Ladies First Team, as they bow out of the FA Cup after a 4-3 penalty shootout defeat to Altofts AFC Women 😔⚽

This morning we woke up to some incredible news… £910 raised! 🙌

That means we've officially smashed our £900 target and unlocked 4 HOURS of running! ⏱️🔥 We don't underestimate the challenge... A mamath task lays ahead running almost the equivalent of the London Marathon between us all.

And today is the day. The girls are heading to the Humber Bridge to take on their Running for Time challenge, putting every minute we've earned into action.
