⚽️ ⚽️ today we entertained Scunthorpe schools district in an entertaining 4 2 defeat . Scunny have been together a few seasons and are a well drilled team . We matched them in periods and there were chances at both ends . There were some standout performances from kenzie and Issac k today both immmense . We lost our way for a 15 minute period , and found ourselves 3 nil down . This is football , the higher you go , these spells are punished . We dug in and got two goals and had a little redemption. ❤️❤️. Positives to take and negatives to be worked on . Footballs 80 per cent a mental game . We go again and look forward . Special mention to Keenan , who hasn’t played football for too long and not at the level of the others , but his heart and desire were rewarded with two great finishes. 🦉🦉 we go again .

Cleethorpes town u14 4 v immingham pilgrims u15 4 . What a battle tonight , against a decent older immingham team . After the great footy we played last week , tonight was all about heart desire and resilience against not only an older physical team , but a decent footballing team , So proud of the lads tonight , Really showed some fight . Scorers Keenan x 2 kenzie x 2 . Onto Scunthorpe Utd next , Another different test 👊👊❤️

⭐ today we hosted north ferriby fc who play in the top division of the hull league . We asked the boys to start bright and take the game the to ferriby , who had an experienced ex hull player matty edeson as manager . We certainly did this and throughout the 80 minutes we played some good football , We maintained a good standard and only had 1 or 2 wobbles , Which we quickly turned round with good game management ⚽️ ⚽️. Minutes in the bank and good habits shown . Onto the next one . Today’s scorers were kenzie x 3 Issac bore x 2 , Chae x 2 Lucas x 1 sonny x 1

A very tough opener today for the boys against a strong older cleethorpes town owls team , well managed by Stef and Gareth ( hat trick in 4 mins pritch 😁) An old team mate and nice to see . The pitch was huge today And it ultimately suited the older boys , but we all gave 100 per cent , really dug in , And played some decent football in bits and bobs . The turn overs did us for today’s game , and fair play to stef and Pritchs team they were clinical in these stages of the game . Next week we play north ferriby at the oasis club wintringham .
