From Sunday 1st November, Little Ninjas lesson prices will increase from £4 to £5 per session, with coloured belt gradings increasing to £15.
We have deliberately kept our prices low for a very long time, and even after this small increase, we remain one of the most affordable martial arts options compared with many clubs locally and nationally.
But Little Ninjas has never simply been about being cheap..
What we teach is Ninjutsu — a traditional Japanese martial art with a very different character to many of the more commonly available martial arts such as Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing or Judo.
Ninjutsu training introduces children to a broad range of skills, including movement, balance, coordination, striking, evasion, throws, escapes, traditional techniques and, as they progress, appropriate training with traditional Japanese weapons.
It is a martial art built around adaptability, awareness and learning how to move intelligently, rather than simply memorising a small number of techniques or preparing solely for competition.
That does not make Ninjutsu "better" than other martial arts. Every good martial art and every good instructor has something valuable to offer.
What it does mean is that Ninjutsu offers something different — and the opportunities for children to study it are considerably less common.
Our aim with Little Ninjas has always been to make that training accessible without placing unnecessary financial pressure on families.
From 1st November:
🥷 First lesson – FREE
🥷 Training – £5 per lesson
🥷 Coloured belt grading – £15
There are no expensive contracts and no requirement to pay for months of training in advance.
Children can simply come along, train, learn and enjoy being part of the dojo.
We want Little Ninjas to remain somewhere children can develop confidence, discipline, coordination, resilience and practical martial arts ability, while discovering a fascinating part of Japanese martial tradition.
Thank you, as always, to everyone who continues to support the dojo and allows us to keep passing these skills on to the next generation.
Lastly, if you be kind enough, please share this post, to increase awareness of our Dojo in the area.
