Our Second fixture of our European Tour 🇪🇸

Tonight we travelled to Orpesa CF for an evening kick off under the lights! Great football was played by both teams, Borough coming closest to breaking the deadlock with a shot thundering off the post!

Half time - 0-0⚽️⚽️⚽️

The second half saw plenty of chances, big tackles and a downpour of rain before the gaming finished 2-1 to Orpesa CF

Well done lads a night to be proud of 🙌

Cup Final 2 of 2…

The boys in red delivered this evening with a convincing 4-0 victory over Clee Town for a massive trophy which was well deserved!

Our boys made the game ours and we owned it…

However - a huge huge shout out goes to the opposition this evening having been 4-0 down at half time they didn’t give up and were fantastic! Just how grassroots football should be!

Well done Clee Town…

The game was ours this evening and cup final winners… UTB

Cup Final One out of Two…

After an incredible season the boys find themselves in two cup finals…

Today was cup final one of two…and we played Ravens. A fantastic team with great ability all over the pitch…

We matched everyone in every area of the pitch throughout the first & second Half and the game was won by a dubious hand ball given by the referee!

This was the changing point with 3 minutes to go. 1-0… Boroughs heads dropped after such a commanding performance throughout to see another goal go in during injury time.

2-0 to Ravens was the final score! Congrats to Humberston on the win.

We go again Monday in our second cup final of the weekend!

Today we travelled to play Healing FC at the Royal British Legion ⚽️⚽️

A place in the Asher Cup final was at stake for the winners of today’s fixture…

Both teams started bright with chances coming at both ends with Borough forcing some good saves from Healings keeper…

0-0 at the break saw Boroughs gaffa send a rocket of confidence up the players and told to go out there and get that cup final spot!

The boys went straight out there 100mph and the positivity paid off with a well taken goal to make it 1-0 to the Brough⚽️

One soon became 2-0 and then 3-0 with an easy finish to proceedings for the boys in red!!

Second cup final this season for the mighty Reds!!

Tonight we welcomed Immingham Pilgrims to Walthams fortress…

Lovely evening for a game of football, & it’s always a good game between us two teams! 6pm arrived and it was time for Kick Off…

A strong start from Borough saw a few long range shots, good saves and rebounds but nothing hit the back of the net! Quick sub from Immingham and within seconds it was 1-0 followed by 2-0 with an identical finish…

Half time 2-0 to Immingham… 2-0 soon become 3-0 and Boroughs heads dropped…

It took some fight and resilience but the boys pulled one back 3-1, this shortly became 3-2 followed by 3-3! The boys were back in it and there was only going to be one winner from this point!

A fantastic second half performance from Borough saw them turn a 3-0 deficit into an amazing 6-3 victory!! Exactly what they deserved!

Big shout out to everyone on that pitch this evening, people playing all over the park in different positions and formations as the game went on!

Billy Makinson-Sanders with FIVE goals was a stand out but didn’t make the player of the match (not sure how)

Another tough fixture against a well drilled Humberston Ravens…

Third fixture in as many weeks against these boys and unfortunately they came out on top once again!

A 5-0 win for Ravens puts an end to our league title hopes, so we push on now for that second spot!
