We're absolutely delighted to announce that The Crux Grimsby Climbing & Heritage CIC has secured £20,000 from the The Architectural Heritage Fund to explore the future of Victoria Flour Mills (Silo).
A huge thank you to the Architectural Heritage Fund for believing in the project, to Fleet Architects Ltd for helping bring some exciting possibilities to life through the concepts below, and to North East Lincolnshire Council , Grimsby Creates , Heritage Lincolnshire , Heritage Network for their continued support and encouragement throughout the journey so far.
We're still at the very beginning, but seeing these ideas start to take shape is incredibly exciting.
So here's the question...
If Victoria Flour Mill could be brought back into use, what would you like to see inside?

Today we got inside Victoria Mills and properly looked at what this space could become.
It’s hard to explain just how big it is until you’re standing in it.
We had some really positive conversations with the right people around the table, including the council, architects and potential partners like Abstract Circus CIC
Also great to see the Ice Factory Trust in attendance, always good to learn from projects already making things happen in Grimsby.
It’s early stages, but this felt like a big step forward.
Something special could happen here.

A climbing and community hub right here in Grimsby.
But this only works if people actually want it.

👉 Would your kids?
