Lia is (amongst teacher of many classes) our Swim School Manager.

Here's what Lia has to say ... A passionate swimming teacher with over 20 years of experience in teaching people of all ages how to swim. I believe that swimming is not only a crucial life skill but also a fantastic form of exercise and recreation. My goal is to instill confidence, improve technique, and promote water safety in all my students.

Qualifications:
- Certified Swim Instructor level 1 and 2
- Lifeguard Certification
- First Aid and CPR Certified
- Bachelor's Degree in Dance/Physical Education

We currently have spaces in all stages of our swim school and would love to help you or your children. We offer 1-2-1 and group lessons plus adult lessons. We offer a discount for members as well as a referral scheme for existing swim school members!

As a Swim Teacher at our Guildford FWC, you’ll need to have an ASA Level 2 or equivalent qualification, together with a good track record of coaching swimmers of all ages and abilities. This role is working with small groups of junior swimmers. Ideally you have experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of teaching programmes.

As a Swim Teacher, you will
• Engage, coach and inspire members of all ages to achieve their swimming goals
• Make the most out of every opportunity to help people learn and develop
• Deliver one-to-one lessons or group classes
