And another fantastic achievement for Talia D, who has been selected for the North Yorkshire U14 Girls squad. 👏🏻

It’s brilliant to see two of our Priorygirls representing their respective county teams.
A fantastic reward for all the hard work, dedication and effort you both put in.

Darcie H
Darcie delivered an excellent performance and showed her natural goalscoring ability throughout the game. She grew in confidence as the match went on, playing with increasing composure and control.

Her five-goal performance was a fantastic achievement and a reward for her hard work, movement and attacking instinct.

Alice C-H
Alice was direct, positive and full of attacking intent down the left wing. She caused the Thornaby defence plenty of problems, created opportunities and showed great confidence when taking on her opponents.

She came close to adding to the scoresheet, with the opposition goalkeeper making some excellent saves. A really strong performance from Alice, who was a constant threat throughout the game. 👏

TJFA U14 Girls Division 1
Guisborough Town U14 Girls 12–0 Thornaby Juniors U14 Girls

A fantastic performance from The Priorygirls as they put together a dominant display to secure a 12–0 victory over Thornaby FC Juniors. 👏⚽

The first half was a little rushed at times, with the girls perhaps too eager to get on the scoresheet. We spoke at half time about being more patient in our build-up, moving the ball with more purpose and waiting for the right opportunities.

The difference in the second half was clear, with some excellent build-up play and a number of goals coming from really good team moves. It was great to see the girls take that message on board, playing with more patience and composure while creating the right opportunities and making the better decisions.

A special mention to the Thornaby FC goalkeeper, who put in an excellent Player of the Match performance for them, making some really good saves throughout the game. 👏🧤

We’re absolutely delighted to see Sammy named as the North Riding FA Lioness Award winner for 2026! 🦁🏆

For the past five years, Sammy has been a massive part of Guisborough Town Football Club, and been with Guisborough Town U14 Girls from the very beginning — right back to where it all started with the Wildcats.

This award is a fantastic recognition of the time, effort and passion she has put into developing and supporting so many young players along the way.

Huge congratulations, Sammy — hugely deserved! 👏👏

Every single one of us is incredibly proud of your achievement.

🏆 PLAYERS OF THE MATCH 🏆

A brilliant team performance today, but three girls stood out and deserved special recognition. 🔴⚪️

⚽ Mabel L
An impressive performance from Mabel, capped off with a fantastic hat-trick! ⚽️⚽️⚽️
She worked hard linking the play throughout and earned her goals by reading the game brilliantly and gambling in the box.

👏 Elsie H
For the second consecutive week, Elsie takes home Player of the Match! 👏
She worked tirelessly down the right wing and was brilliant both physically and technically today.
She was incredibly unlucky not to get on the scoresheet herself, hitting the woodwork twice and forcing the Trimdon goalkeeper into some excellent saves.

💪 Evie H
Evie played in midfield for the first half before moving into defence for the second, showing the versatility and reliability she brings to the team.
Miss Reliable once again gave 100% from start to finish and produced another really solid performance.

Three very deserved awards after another excellent team performance. 🔴⚪️

Trimdon United 0-7 Guisborough Town

The Priorygirls make it two from two! 🔴⚪️

The Priorygirls made their first away trip of the season to face a hard-working and physical Trimdon United side, and came away with an excellent 7–0 victory.

The girls got off to the perfect start, with Mabel L opening the scoring inside the first minute. Mabel quickly added two more to complete a fantastic first-half hat-trick. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Connie R then added her second goal in as many games, finding the back of the net directly from a corner to give the girls a strong lead at the break. ⚽️

The scoreline could have been even more convincing, with the girls creating chance after chance, but full credit to the Trimdon goalkeeper, who produced some fantastic saves to keep her side in the game.

The second half saw the girls continue with real purpose and intent, looking to advance the ball quickly, play on the front foot and create further opportunities.

Josie W added a fifth and her 3rd of the season from another corner ⚽️ before Alice C-H made it six late in the game. ⚽️

The scoring was then topped off by Meadow T, whose long-range effort deceived the Trimdon goalkeeper and found the back of the net. ⚽️

A fantastic performance from the girls against a hard-working and physical Trimdon United team.

The Priorygirls played some great football from start to finish and, despite the seven goals, were probably unlucky not to score even more.

Huge shoutout to Trimdon United girls for putting on a performance that made us work for our goals.

Two games. Two wins. Two fantastic performances.

The Priorygirls have been handed their second round tie in the North Riding County FA U14 Junior Girls Cup.

An away tie at T.I.B.S Girls awaits the girls.

A great cup challenge ahead for the girls as we look to advance in the competition after first round disappointment last season.
