We are very excited for the re-wilding on the estate!! We already have a great population of wild birds of prey and hopefully this project will only bring in more species.

Tipple is now free flying and exploring the woods on the estate!! 🦉

Although he decided my shoulder was the place to land in this clip 🤦🏼‍♂️😂 trying to film and focus on a young owls first free flight isn’t the easiest of things, the rest of the time he did land on the glove.

One of the most challenging parts of our experiences is being able to allow people to see and experience our birds full capabilities. The key is creating birds who are not just confinement in their abilities, but also confident in us as a falconer. Neo is definitely one of our team members who is fully aware of what his capabilities are!! The video is in 2 parts, one in slow motion and one in full speed so you can fully appreciate what this amazing falcon can do! The passes he does to the lure are not just fast meaningless passes, he is trying to catch the lure and catch me out!! Sound on to hear the speed!!

We have been so busy this year, we forgot to mention we won another “Travellers choice award” by Tripadvisor.

This is our 6th consecutive win of the award and once again puts us in the top 10% of things to do world wide on Tripadvisor!!

A huge thank you to all our amazing clients who come and spend time with our amazing team of birds and leave us such amazing reviews! One of the highlights of the job is getting to read all our lovely reviews and seeing the impact the team has on everyone who visits.

Also a big thank you to Herstmonceux Castle Estate who provide us with such amazing and beautiful grounds where the birds have the ability to reach their full potential!

Herstmonceux Castle Estate is launching a new Business Club this September, creating a new place for organisations across East Sussex to meet, connect, and build lasting business relationships.

The HCE Business Club has been created for businesses, entrepreneurs, educators, corporate organisations, and community leaders who want to grow their networks while becoming more closely connected with one of the region’s best-known destinations.

The club will officially launch on Thursday 10th September 2026 with an afternoon event at Herstmonceux Castle Estate.

Andy Griffiths, Commercial Director at Herstmonceux Castle Estate, said:

“The HCE Business Club is about bringing people together and creating connections that have real value. We want businesses from across East Sussex and beyond to see Herstmonceux Castle Estate as somewhere they can meet new people, share ideas, develop relationships, and become part of a growing business community.”

The launch event will include a light lunch, plenty of time for networking, and a falconry demonstration on the grounds.
