So that’s it for us for the season, we have now played all of our games!

It’s difficult to put into words how immensely proud we are of the girls.

No season goes without highs and lows ,wins and losses, game after game being called and playing through injuries. It hasn’t always been easy.

They have shown grit,determination and resolve not to let anything beat them which they should be proud of.

It’s never been about the results for us as a coaches -we wanted to help the girls believe in themselves and see their worth

It’s been great to see the friendships that they have made and the bond within the team. The way they look out for each other and support one other is what has made this team what it is.

We have ended this season stronger than we started it and have built the foundations to take us into the next.

Our parents, thank you. Thank you for the support you have given to the whole team. Your encouragement on the sidelines, support to the coaching team and helping on a match day, you have been a massive part of our season for which we are grateful.

Dudley Sport had won 16, Lost 3 and drawn 0 with a goal difference of +74. They also beat us 5.1 in the reverse fixture. They are an excellent team and sit in 2nd place in the league.

Today we matched them in all areas but were frustrated to find ourselves a goal behind at half time. It wasn’t the best of games -the girls were hot and tired and could have been easy to let their heads drop. Yet again the girls have shown their resilience and determination to see the game out right to the very end.

They kept going, fought to very end and deserved to equalise in the last few seconds.

We are so proud of all the girls who are growing and making progress, as a team, each week.

Well done to all of the girls for grinding out another great result.

Shout out to Amelia (Captain’s player) for another commanding performance in defence; to Ellie (Coaches’ player) for stepping in when we needed you and giving your all and to Summer (Parents’ player) for never giving up and getting that crucial goal. Up the warriors! 💪🏻

Summer ⚽️

Girls, want an incredible performance in a double-header on a hot day. How you kept on running today we will never know.

It was a tough competitive game, both teams having to play in tough conditions. Winning 1-0 in the first game and drawing 2-2 in the second game.

Both parents and coaches couldn’t pick a player of the match because they all put in such a brilliant team performance and deserve to share the praise as a team.

Today you all made everyone proud with your determination, resilience and heart, as well as playing some good football.

You all play such crucial roles to make this team what it is.

Let’s keep that self belief moving forwards.

Tough one to take today as the girls played really well and the scoreline did not reflect the performance.

Kewford took their chances well and we were very unlucky not to score more of ours.

We were missing a few players due to injury (get well soon!) and the girls deserve credit for adapting to a new formation and style of play quickly.

We will pick ourselves up and go again on Wednesday against Gornal.

Congratulations to Holly (coaches’ player of the match) for a strong performance at right back; to Macie (parents’ player) for an energetic performances and getting another goal and to Erin (Captain’s player) for leading the line and linking up the play.

Playing after a full day at school is tough and that was hard earned, scrappy draw.

Some really good moments during the game and we went close to scoring a few times.

Congratulations to:
Chloe -(coaches player of the match) for her none stop running and commitment.
Kesanat -(Captain’s player) for a typical Rolls Royce performance in midfield.
Summer -(parents’ player) for a tireless performance where she was kicked all over the pitch but never gave up battling for the team.

The warriors were so unlucky to lose today’s game, but what an incredible team performance it was. We say it week in, week out but we are so proud of you all!

It was a close game, which we took to them and we piled on the pressure, scored a cracking goal Well done Erin!! ⚽️

Mia was manager’s player of the match for a confident and brave performance in goal.

Captains’ player went to Summer for putting a typical battling performance.

Parents’ player was awarded to the whole team and rightly so!

Phoebe, Holly, Amelia and Darcey kept a dangerous attacking line up very quiet.

Kes, Summer and Freya never stopped running in midfield and were superb.

Our attackers Edi, Chloe, Macie and Erin never stopped pressing and battling.

This week we lost one of our own. Today the girls remembered and Thanked Bob for all that he done for our club with a minutes round of applause. RIP Bob

3 wins from our last 4 games. Gornal made it difficult for us today, with a close fought game.

They were determined today, which really showed and payed off. Some of the girls took some knocks today, which we hope they are ok.

Well done to Kesanat for getting her first goal for the team ⚽️

Honestly really proud of them and proud of the team we have. We have a great bunch of girls.

Thanks also to the parents -we could hear you cheering the girls on from the other side of the pitch! Thanks for your positivity and for getting behind the team.

Congratulations to Amelia for getting Coach’s Player of the Match and to Freya for Parent’s Player of the Match. Captain’s player of the match was awarded to the whole team.

Finally, a shout out and a very happy birthday to Luke for being our gaffer and for all that he does for the team!
