I know that starting a new sport can be overwhelming in sooo many levels.

That’s why in Shine Bright we got you covered! You can purchase all of the essentials directly through our club.

This includes all of the apparatus, club vests, tracksuits, dawn string bags and more!

If in doubt, ask your group’s coach what your daughter might need and we’ll get her sorted ✔️☺️

A quick guide to rhythmic apparatus 💪✨

In rhythmic gymnastics we use five handheld apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon. Each one brings a different set of challenges and skills.

🪢 Rope helps develop rhythm, jumping and coordination.
🔮 Ball develops control, balance and hand-eye coordination.
⭕️ Hoop involves throwing, rolling, rotations and body movements.
🥢 Clubs challenge coordination, especially when working with both hands.
🎗️ Ribbon requires continuous movement, control and coordination.

Gymnasts don’t usually practice with all five straight away. The apparatus they use depends on their age and level and they gradually learn more as they progress.

So when your gymnast starts learning a new apparatus, she’s not just getting a new piece of equipment. She’s learning a whole new set of skills! 🤸‍♀️💛

Still thinking about our Halloween Party 🎃💗

One of my favourite things about these events is seeing gymnasts from different classes come together, make new friends and spend an evening just having fun together.

This time we had a little bit of everything: an arts & crafts station, which was completely new and such a hit that I already know it’s coming back at our next party 👀, an ongoing obstacle course with an acrobatic station, pass the parcel, witch’s broom limbo and plenty of other games to keep everyone busy.

And, of course, no Halloween party would be complete without some very exciting goodies at the end 👻🍬

It was lovely seeing the girls mixing with gymnasts they might not normally see in their weekly classes, cheering each other on, getting creative and just enjoying being together.

These are the moments that make our SBG community feel like a community 💗

And if you like the sound of this, you’re going to absolutely love what we have planned for our Half Term Camp!

Shine Bright is changing 🥲💗 It’s scary and exciting at the same time.

Right now, we’re looking at:

⭐ New coaches joining the team
🏆 More competitions to take part in
🌟 Pre-Squad / Squad continuing to grow
🎭 Our new Display Team
💗 New ways to bring our community together
🏠 And lots of improvements happening behind the scenes

And this is only the beginning!

What I love most is seeing all of this happen with our little Shine Bright community around us. Watching the gymnasts grow, make friends, support each other and find their own place 👯‍♀️ is exactly what makes all this work worth it.

Can’t wait to see how this season unfolds ✨💗

Hello Summer Term ☀️ We’re back at the gym!

Maybe not 7 days per week, hahaha, but our minds are inspired by rhythmic gymnastics ALL THE TIME ❤️✨

Our classes are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Different ages and levels at different times. If you’d like to join just drop me a message with your child’s age and preferred weekday and I’ll advise.

Classes for 3-16 year olds!
