One of my favourite parts of teaching children’s yoga is watching children use movement, imagination and mindfulness to connect with themselves and each other in such a joyful way 🌍🧘🏽‍♀️

In this session we travelled around the world through animal inspired yoga, movement and breathwork. Supporting calm minds, confident bodies and happy hearts along the way 🌿

Every child is different and so is the way they learn, move and grow 💚

Happy Hearts Yoga is thoughtfully designed to support children through age appropriate movement, mindfulness and emotional wellbeing practices.

Each group is gently tailored to meet children where they are, helping them build calm, confidence and connection in a safe and nurturing space 🌿

People often say, “You have the best job…” when I teach puppy yoga and I find it hard to disagree.

There’s something quietly special about each class. While you’re never meant to have a favourite, there is often one little pup I feel a gentle, unspoken connection with.

After practice, we share a few moments of stillness and soft cuddles before they drift into sleep and return to their mamas.

A reminder, always, of how simple joy can be.

Happy Hearts Yoga 💚

A space for children to move, breathe and gently connect with themselves.

These sessions are designed to support not just the body, but emotional wellbeing, confidence and calm in a way that feels safe, playful and nurturing.

Samskara is the yogic idea that we all carry patterns formed from past experiences. These patterns shape how we react, how we think, and even how we see ourselves.

Lately I’ve noticed my own samskara coming up around practice…

There are moments where I feel frustrated that I can’t show up the way I used to, that my routine looks different now, or that I don’t always have the time I want.

Having a child changes your rhythm, and sometimes my mind goes straight to thinking I’m not doing enough.
But yoga teaches us to notice these patterns, not fight them. 🧘🏽‍♀️

Instead of forcing the old routine, I’m learning to find balance in a different way. ⚖️

To trust the phase I’m in, to move with it rather than against it, and to understand that practice can look different in every season of life. 🌿

Right now, the practice is patience, presence, and learning to flow with what is. 🌊

Samskara is the patterns we carry from past experiences.

The habits, reactions and ways of thinking that can show up without us even realising.

Through yoga, we begin to notice them.

And in that awareness, there is space to choose something different.

Or sometimes… simply to accept where we are.
