Saturday’s game was away at Cheshunt FC, and the boys had to battle through truly awful conditions, with wind and rain making everything that little bit harder. 🌧☔️
It was a tough match overall, and the boys took quite a loss. A few heads naturally went down, but even on a difficult day, they kept going and powered through until the end.
Onwards and upwards, Eagles. Lessons learned, spirits reset, and we go again this Saturday. ❤️🦅

Frankie stepped up in a big way this weekend, filling in for our keeper Alfie, who was away celebrating his birthday.
He was phenomenal between the posts and showed everyone just how talented and versatile he truly is. Frankie pulled off an incredible number of saves and handled the pressure like a pro. His confidence, bravery, and determination shone through.
Well done, Frankie! 👏🦅⚽️

What an edge of your seat match it was for the Eagles yesterday!
The game stayed incredibly close right up until the final five minutes, when the opposition managed to pull ahead with two late goals.
Despite battling against winds and rain, the boys put in 100% effort and gave everything they had. We saw fantastic goals from Adam, Hakeem, and Jacob, each of them taking their chances brilliantly and keeping us in the game.
Our defence was a force to be reckoned with, closing players down early and dealing with pressure brilliantly, especially against the fast sideline kicks.
Week after week, these boys continue to develop, work hard for one another, and grow in confidence. From the sidelines you can clearly how much they are improving because of it.
Well done, Eagles! 🦅❤️⚽

Hakeem earned this week’s award for his outstanding performance on Saturday. His incredible free kick was a real highlight of the game, and his lightning-fast reactions saw him make a brilliant goal line clearance to keep the ball out! ⚽🔥
He gave 110% and put in an incredible amount of effort right up to the final whistle. Well done, Hakeem!

Before the game this week, the boys and coach Owen showed their respect with a two-minute silence for Remembrance. ❤️
The game kicked off to a fantastic start, showing that the boys were refreshed and ready after the half-term break. The team stepped up a level in their gameplay, with confidence and teamwork shining throughout.
A brilliant goal from Adam in the first half set the tone early on. Our strong defence worked tirelessly, turning pressure into quick counterattacks and keeping the ball moving. We also saw a superb free kick from Hakeem, which looped beautifully over the players and found the back of the net. We were gutted when the referee’s decision meant it was disallowed.
But the boys didn’t let that stop them! They kept fighting right until the final whistle, showing real determination and team spirit.
A brilliant effort from every single player Well done, Eagles! 🦅👏

Once again, the award goes to Taylor! 👏
He earned it for his bravery after taking a few knocks in Saturday’s game. He could have easily walked off, but this lad didn’t. He battled on despite the tough circumstances he was put under, showing real heart and commitment to his team. 💪🦅

What an incredible game for the Eagles this Saturday.
The scoreline definitely didn’t reflect the hard work and effort the boys put in.
Not a single head went down and there were smiles all round from start to finish! 😁 The boys worked tirelessly for each other, winning the ball back and shutting down play as a team.
It was a real joy to watch and without a doubt the best football they’ve played so far this season against a very well-drilled side.
Goals from Jacob and Adam helped keep the team pushing forward, showing how well all the boys are working together 👏
A special mention to Edison, who stepped up and filled in as keeper while Alfie was away, showing great team spirit and bravery between the posts!
The boys should be incredibly proud of themselves! ❤️🦅⚽️ Bring on this Saturdays game!

The U9 Eagles were back in action this weekend against St Albans Rangers U9 Jets.
At the start of the season, this group came together as a brand-new team and Saturday’s game really showed just how far they’ve come. Their teamwork, determination, and improvement each week are something to be proud of 👏.
They came up against an incredibly well-drilled side, but the boys kept their heads up, worked hard, and supported each other.
Great effort, Eagles. The progress is clear to see! ❤️🦅

The U9 Eagles battled through Storm Amy this weekend, playing in tough weather and tricky conditions. It wasn’t an easy game, but the boys kept going until the final whistle and showed real determination and resilience.
