What a fabulous time we had at the July 5K Your Way. Move Against Cancer meet at Harrogate parkrun this morning. We had a great turn out, John did a speedy walk round the course along with volunteer parkwalker and ever supportive wife Sylvia. Claire came along to her second event, determined to beat her time and encouraged by her husband knocked nearly 7 minutes off her time. Way to go Claire!! π₯ Lee has become a regular face at our Harrogate event and looking at the results bagged himself a personal best today too!! Sue came along and walked a couple of laps with Jo. The best thing about our event is the variety. Run, walk, skip, whatever, itβs the taking part and being active that counts. Well done everyone π and hope to see you all in August ππΌββοΈππ»πΆπ½πΆπ»ββοΈ

What a truly wonderful, but drizzly morning we had at the February 5K Your Way. Move Against Cancer event at Harrogate parkrun. We welcomed John and Sue who both walked this morning, and congratulations John on your first ever parkrun. We also met Joy from Kirk Harle parkrun up in Northumberlandβ¦.sheβs keen to set up the event there so it was great to share our experience with her. Looking forward to the March event when hopefully the weather may be a little brighter βοΈ π·
