John Part: “The new boys on the block where caused the upset of the week last week on their debut, but last seasons champions the social club showed their experience here in what had a lot of close fought encounters but ultimately it was the Social that came out on top and make it two wins from two."

John: "another white wash in the singles here but that scoreline flattered the social club with some real close matches! Jimmy Kelsey got them off to a routine start! Followed by Tony Billet who managed a 2-1 win over Harvey Fisher! C***y then made it 3-0 with another 2-1 win! Glyn Neads battled past Paul Winder from 1 down after Paul had taken out a stunning 101 in that first leg! Pop Herron scraped past Ronnie winder 2-1 with a superb 180 and 17 dart leg on the decider! Darren Bland also needed a decider to edge past Alex Coombes."

Wayne: "unlucky to the football boys it was just one of them nights where experience showed! Some strong displays and on another night they’d be winning!"
