On Mondays we focus on basic pad work, this includes working in pairs to learn how to punch properly, some punching drills, learn how to slip to avoid punches and how to block. You will get one on one time with myself to really tighten everything you have learnt. Within the session we will focus on other exercises that will improve your fitness and muscles including skipping.
With pad work you can improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, body composition, reaction time, coordination, speed, agility and power.
Pad Work is great for improving body composition – and is great for weight loss. This helps you to increase your muscle mass and decrease your fat mass. Pad Work is an incredible mechanism for improving body composition. It perfectly combines muscle-building, strength training moves and calorie-burning bouts of cardio.
On Thursdays is our bootcamp where we partake in numerous of exercises set up like a circuit, you can expect to see the battlerope, kettlebells, dumbbells, sand bags, resistant bands and other equipment to build your fitness, help you burn calories and tone those muscles. You will also see many activities where you use your own body weight. Our bootcamp works your entire body with cardio, lower body, upper body, and core exercises.
You will have a lot of fun and many a laughs in our fitness group and we look forward to welcoming you in and helping you to build in whichever way it may be.
