August 2010
Eugene also won the nearest the pin with a fine effort on the 9th to about 3 feet. Thanks to The Bucks who certainly know how to make you welcome and also to all who attended.Paul
BUCKS CONT: The Japanese bath afterwards was an ideal way for all to relax and get the body back in some sort of shape and most appreciated. (every club should have one)
Food as always at The Bucks was top notch and I even managed to hole some puts which made a pleasant change.
The winner with 43 points was Michael Kitchen who won a Four Ball at Foxhills closely followed by Eugene Conlon in second with 42.
BUCKS REPORT:
To say we played in the rain on Thursday would be understating things. We started in the rain, played in the rain & finished in the rain so just to confirm the weather for the day, it was wet.
That didn’t dampen the spirits of the intrepid 35 players who graced The wonderfull Bucks though. Most played in T shirts, as the temperature was a balmy 19 degrees and the scoring was very good indeed.
BUCK UPDATE:
34 CONFIRMED NOW SO FILLING UP NICELY.
WE HAVE SPACE FOR 40 SO ROOM FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO MAKE IT.
