Freddie stepped up and took on the challenge of going in goal, making some fantastic saves and showing great confidence between the sticks. 🧤👏

And as if that wasn’t enough, he then produced a brilliant solo run, dribbling through the opposition before finishing with a fantastic ⚽️!

What a fantastic performance from the Yellows today! 👏⚽️

A brilliant team performance from start to finish, with the lads showing great energy, confidence and determination.

Sydney got us underway before Harry added another. ⚽️

Then came a fantastic spell of finishing from Rico, who found the net four times, including a fantastic finish from a corner delivered brilliantly by Sydney! ⚽️🔥

21st Allstars managed to get on the scoresheet, but the lads stayed focused and continued to push forward.

Then came an incredible moment from Freddie! After stepping into goal, he saved brilliantly before dribbling all the way through the opposition and finishing himself! ⚽️🔥

The keeper is on a mission! 🧤⚽️😂

A fantastic victory and a brilliant all-round performance from everyone! 💪👏

U8 Blues-Oliver-captains performance🏆

His legs never stopped for the full match, played absolutely all over the park showing some amazing football IQ. Never shied away from one tackle playing against a seriously physical opposition. Oliver boosted the teams morale securing todays first goal for the boys to gain the lead. Oliver’s constant positive communication today was sensational which resulted in him earning the captains armband for next week’s game. 🗣️👏

U8 Blues Rico - coaches player of the match 🏆

Yet another solid performance from the big lad, showed complete dominance in plenty of 1v1 at the top end of the pitch and provided us with our 2nd goal of the match. Battled hard today against another big lad from the opposition and came away slightly hurt from a tackle taken, dusted himself down and soldiered on. Rico worked hard up and down the pitch and played some mega football which resulted in him earning Coaches player of the match 🏆

Another mint performance today from our left winger. Played some great passes, strong in the tackle and played up and down the line whenever and wherever needed. Bagged himself an absolute rocket of a goal from the half way line to secure our 3rd goal and earned himself a well earned oppositions player of the match 🎯👏

Class ⚽️⚽️⚽️ goal win saturday against Coxhoe United U8 Blacks to make it 2 wins from 2 for the u8 blues

With no fresh legs today, the lads grafted hard for each other to secure a well deserved 3 points and a clean sheet against an extremely strong opposition.

Henry - Clean sheet for today’s captain, demonstrating great display of his area today staying focused and ready at all times. He provided quality communication to his players and was fearless and made a couple of exceptionally brave 1v1 saves when coming out to smother the ball and narrow the angle from the opposition and his goal 🦁

Harry N - Sir Alex Ferguson once acknowledged “Attack wins you games but defence wins you titles” well Harry is proof of that. Harry was absolutely sensational at the back of the pitch providing his goalkeeper the best cover possible but also provided quality link play to his wingers. He made some exceptional tackles and decisions today and showed some great communication 👌🏻

What a fantastic morning for the Greens who came away with a win !☀️ ⚽️

With the sun shining, the team put on a brilliant performance. There was lots of goals, brilliant movement around the pitch and, as always fantastic teamwork.

It was also great seeing the boys trying out new positions and showing their confidence 👏🏻
