The 2026/27 season is underway, but we still have spaces available across all three of our FPCA teams and we’re looking for players to come along and join us!

You don’t have to already be an experienced grassroots player.

We welcome boys and girls, players who are completely new to football, and existing grassroots players who might be looking for a new club, a different team or a fresh challenge.

Come along, meet our coaches and players, take part in a training session and see what you think. There’s no pressure to commit before you’ve experienced the club.

At FPCA we’re about developing players while creating an environment where they can enjoy their football, build confidence, make friends and feel part of a team.

A massive thank you to everyone who turned out yesterday for our FPCA Football Club Open Training Session!

It was fantastic to see our:

all back together and getting ready for the 2026/27 season.

A special thank you and welcome to all the new faces who came along to meet our players and coaches and experience FPCA for the first time. It was great to see so many players getting involved, enjoying their football and becoming part of the session.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning and a brilliant way to kick-start our second season! 👏⚽

The wait is nearly over! Tomorrow morning we’re opening the doors to FPCA Football Club as we prepare for the 2026/27 season.

Whether you’re already part of FPCA, new to football, or an existing grassroots player looking for a new club and team, we’d love to see you.

Players will meet our coaches and current squads before enjoying a morning of:

This isn’t a high-pressure trial. Come down, enjoy your football, meet everyone and see whether FPCA is the right club for you.

🌦️ WEATHER UPDATE

We’re aware that the weather is forecast to turn during the afternoon.

At the moment, we’re expecting the U9 and U12 sessions to be completed as planned.

For our U15 parents/carers, please remain nearby/on site during the session. If the weather deteriorates earlier than expected, we may need to cut the U15 session short for everyone’s safety.

We’ll make decisions on the day based on the actual conditions.

🚗 PARKING

Please use the Haxey Playing Fields car park first.

When this becomes full, additional parking is available at The Kings Arms Haxey from 10am–12pm.

If parking on surrounding roads, please park safely and considerately, keeping entrances, driveways and access routes clear.

🏏 PLEASE REMEMBER

Cricket will be using the ground from 12pm, so please keep players, children and equipment away from the cricket square and designated cricket areas. Our football activities will remain within the FPCA areas.

🎒 PLAYERS – DON’T FORGET

🛡️ Shin pads are compulsory
💧 Bring a full drinks bottle
👕 Wear suitable football/training clothing
👟 Suitable boots/trainers for the conditions

Please aim to arrive 10–15 minutes before your session to allow time for parking and registration.

The Kings Arms Haxey is just across the road and opens from 12pm, offering food and drinks, live sport, a garden area and a friendly family atmosphere.

There’s no pressure and no commitment from attending — just get involved and enjoy some football.

🚗 PARKING

Parking is available at Haxey Playing Fields. Please use the main car park where possible.

If the car park becomes full, overflow parking is available at the Kings Arms, Haxey.

Please park responsibly and be considerate of our neighbours and other users of the playing fields.

☕ REFRESHMENTS

Refreshments will be available around the pavilion during the morning, so parents can grab a drink while watching the football.

⚽ FOOTBALL CARD

We’ll also have our FPCA Football Card running during the morning — have a go, support the club and you could win a prize!

Players should arrive ready to play with:

😊 And a willingness to get involved!

Our existing FPCA players will be there too, so new players can come straight into a proper club environment and meet their potential new teammates.
