Our MOTM showed great close control today to evade the opposition and to find a yard or two to play in a team mate or take a shot, he scored from three of his shots.….two fantastic right foot strikes either side of a beautifully placed left foot finish past the keeper (🎯 assisted by Calum, Archie, and Ronan). The boys were certainly ready this weekend 👏🏼 We showed the hunger and aggression we missed badly last Saturday from the first whistle to the last today, mixed in with sustained periods of really impressive play and some great goals too. Well done to Steven, getting what we hope is his first of many Ardencaple hat-tricks ⚽️⚽️⚽️ and a great clean sheet for Jacob and the boys at the back too 🔴⚽️⚫️ well done boys 👏🏼

The manner of the defeat was more disappointing than the result. Shape/structure from kick off didn’t quite work, so the tactical aspect early on, is on us. Outwith that we collectively failed to match our opponent technically and physically, and when that happens a positive result is hard to achieve. It would have been good to have the Veo today, to show the difference v Ashfield (despite that being a defeat too), but the video analyst had a day off 🫣 We all need to work hard this week, put in the effort, and be ready to go on Saturday 🔴⚽️⚫️💪🏼

Our MOTM v Ashfield Juniors showed his 1:1 skills, was full of running, had some great passages of play with his team mates and delivered some really good balls into the box too. He was near the top of the charts for dribbles, high intensity runs and distance tracked on the night 💪🏼 Well done Leo Taylor 🔴⚽️⚫️👏🏼
