This week we’re giving a shoutout to one of our from down south! , regular rider and at only 12 years old, he’s FLYING through the comps! 🏅🎿




“My name’s Palmer Parish and I am 12 years old. I first started Freestyle skiing at six years old. I got sponsored by the Snow Centre at 7 and at the age of 9, I won; the British championship indoor, British championship at LAAX in Slopestyle and Big Air, Welsh championship and Scottish championship In the same year all in U12 category. I’ve been on the snow sport England park team for the last 3 years. Unfortunately, since Covid there has only been the Scottish championships, which I won in the under 16s category. I have picked up some sponsors along the way I’m looking forward to the new season! My favourite tricks are cork and Misty 7s, rodeo 5 with safety, 900 blunt, and superfed, and this season I’m hoping to get a 1080, double fronts and cork 9” - Palmer

This week we’re giving a shoutout to one of our dome instructors, he really catches the essence of what dome riding is all about and why we all love our community so much! 💙⛷




“For me, domes are awesome as they are the epicentre of the UK skiing and snowboarding scene. They create friendships, they create a training environment and they create a place to have fun. Riding a dome to hit the park, or training for an instructor qualification, the dome still serves its purpose of helping the UK ski and snowboard scene. I learnt to ski at Tamworth SnowDome at 2 years old, so without that dome I very much doubt I would have the coaching career I have now, let alone the friendships I have made. Domes aren’t just 4 walls and a snowy hill inside - it’s the people that make the dome what it is. Without those people you train with, without that crew that you ride with it’s not a dome. The vibe and atmosphere that gets created amongst regular riders is unrivalled, and they are times I will forever cherish” - James

This Friday we’re here to appreciate one of our mini shredders down - This little dude was SENDING IT last Tuesday at the x Tamlands sesh 🏂


It’s such a pleasure to watch the little ones progress so much, they’re the future of snow sports and from what we can see, it’s gonna be AWESOME! 🤙🏼





“Hey, I’m Joseph, I’m 8 years old (nearly 9) and I’ve been snowboarding for about 15 months now, after covid cancelled a snow fun session at snowdome tam, I went out on a wim and tried snowboarding! Turns out I love the shred! Even Mum and Dad have had to learn now!
I’ve met some awesome people at the snowdome who have not only taught me, but helped me progress, along with b***y trap and Tamlands Sessions! I really feel like part of the family there!
I love taking things to the next level, including new heights on the kickers!! Which are probably my favourite!! I’m looking forward for what’s to come and the future… I think learning the poles will be next!!” - Joseph

We’re taking it up north this week for a shoutout to one of the regular shredders up , 🎿




“I started skiing back in 2015 at the age of 7. I always rode park due to my brother and dad being snowboarders and went on to get third in the English slope style championships that year, hitting my first 540 and 270 on. Unfortunately I stopped riding at 8 year’s old due to my dad having a bad accident on the park. I managed to start back riding again in May 2021. At 13 years old I got picked up as a sponsored rider at chill factore and now just love it more than ever, especially the dome scene. There is a growing number of younger riders that are just another level.

I need to say a big thank you to all the tribe I ride regularly with that have taught me so much, you all know who you are and a big thank you to for all their support and for letting a skier ride on their board park, love you all!” - Kai

“ I got into snowboarding when I was 4 nearly 5. I had all my lessons at the snowdome and then once I could do it on my own I loved it because that’s when I started learning new things! Freestyle with and has taught me a lot, pushing me to my limits for me to get better and every week I learn something new at Tamland Tuesdays. I love snowboarding because I meet new friends and also meet followers on Instagram it’s made me more confident in alot of ways especially shredding with the older guys. The other thing I love about snowboarding is going to the mountains with my dad we went to Andorra for my 1st trip and we are off to Austria this year with jon Weatherley’s b***ytrip week. It’s the coolest sport ever!” - Ted the shredder
