you have been with me for a whole year now and what an absolute pleasure it has been 😊. Your commitment, focus, hard work and over all attitude is something I truly admire. You put 💯 in to everything you do. You have been so consistent over the year turning up every week to at least 2 of the sessions - week, after week after week / even in freezing temperatures.
It’s a pleasure to coach you. Not only have you made massive physical changes you also have mentally. Running and fitness is now just part of you and who you are and I’ve loved seeing u grow.

The Train & Sustain gym in Apsley is perfect for 1:1’s or 1:2s PT sessions - clean, fully equipped, easy parking and completely your own!

Introducing our off road Sunday run 😍
A slow longer run (5.30min per km - 6.30min per km) normally between 8km - 12km.
Meet time 7.30am from Langleybury Cricket club.
The benefits of a long run are:
- Strengthens muscles in legs, torso, and arms
- Adapts tendons, ligaments, joints, and bones to stress of running
- Promotes efficient running form
- Teaches patience, discipline, and how to handle physical discomfort
- Trains the cardio, respiratory, and muscular systems to work more efficiently
- Increases the quantity and size of mitochondria, improving oxygen use and glycogen stores
Also great for those doing Hyrox as it allows you to get used to the time on your feet and will make time shorter runs feel easier over time.
