These guys are super athletes but in table tennis they are true beginners. Every sport has levels…

A fabulous weekend for finishing in 2nd place.

Leo was seeded fourth in a Top 10 showdown, where everyone faced each other to gain a spot at the world hopes (ITTF).

Leo lost only one match (out of 9) and the one he lost was to the eventual winner 3-1. Leo quickly bounced back to win his remaining matches.

Additionally Sammy Kaye deserves credit for putting in private work with Leo behind the scenes at eBaTT and it’s clearly paying off.

Leo is certainly one to watch for the future 🙌🏓

Side note, it was so nice to see so many TT faces as the season kicks off for 2026/27…

Rebecca Savage moves on from her coaching role at eBaTT 💙🏓
Some news is difficult to write, and this is one of those moments.
In September, Rebecca Savage will be stepping down from her coaching role at eBaTT.
Rebecca’s journey with us began long before the eBaTT Centre officially opened. Eli first coached Rebecca at one of his camps over 10 years ago, before later working with her at Ackworth Table Tennis Academy. She then became eBaTT’s very first apprentice and went on to become an official eBaTT coach.
From the beginning, Rebecca embraced our coaching methods and ethos. She built great friendships, inspired countless players, and helped create fantastic coaching programmes that have become a big part of the eBaTT community.
While all good things come to an end, this isn’t goodbye. Rebecca is pursuing an exciting new chapter, whether within the table tennis industry or beyond, while continuing her own playing and training journey.
The most important thing is that Rebecca will always be part of the eBaTT family. You’ll still see her around the club, training, playing, competing, and socialising with the community she has helped build.
Rebecca, thank you for everything you have given to eBaTT. We’re incredibly proud of you and grateful for your hard work, loyalty, and passion over the years.
Please join us in wishing Rebecca every success and happiness in her next chapter. ❤️
