It was a very clean and respectful match, with no yellow or red cards and no reckless challenges. Despite the disciplined play, the game remained highly competitive and engaging, with both sides creating chances and trading attacks. However, neither team could find a way past the opposing goalkeeper, and the match ended in a well-fought stalemate, with each side taking a point.

回顧九個月前，球隊作客 MK，在大好形勢下最終全失三分，讓對手後來居上，亦令球隊最終與季軍資格擦身而過。今次再度碰頭，意味著一場復仇之戰。

然而球隊目前仍受傷兵問題困擾，而對賽往績更不理想——過去 5 次交手全部落敗。另一方面，MK Hkers FC 近期狀態火熱，近 5 場聯賽全勝，更極有機會問鼎今季聯賽冠軍。

With the busy March schedule continuing, the team returns to our home ground at St James School this weekend for our second league match of the month, facing our old rivals MK Hkers FC.

Looking back nine months ago, we travelled to MK and lost all three points despite being in a strong position during the game. That defeat allowed our opponents to overtake us in the table and ultimately cost us a place in the top three.

The team is still dealing with several injuries, and the head-to-head record against MK hasn’t been kind to us either — five meetings, five defeats. Meanwhile, MK Hkers FC are in excellent form, winning their last five league matches and looking like strong contenders for this season’s league title.

Can we finally break the streak this Sunday, take revenge on our rivals, and keep our hopes alive for a top-three finish?

正如賽前預告，球隊正受傷兵潮影響，不過今場上陣的球員鬥心十足，在幾位U35球員帶領下統領中前場。對手開局階段主要將防線收得較後，希望伺機反擊。

比賽去到上半場中段，對手一次底線傳中，接應球員突然以一記窩利抽射轟入世界波，打破僵局，半場球隊暫時以0:1落後。

下半場對手全線退守，而球隊亦創造出數次黃金機會，可惜始終未能突破對方表現出色的守門員。

直到75分鐘，球隊皇牌中堅 Keith 再次挺身而出，壓上參與進攻，藉著對手解圍失誤把握機會將球送入網窩，成功追成1:1。

最終球隊力保一分，全身而退！

As mentioned in the pre-match preview, the team is currently dealing with a serious injury crisis. Despite that, the players who took part showed great determination. With several U35 players leading the midfield and attacking line, the team remained competitive throughout the game.

In the early stages, our opponents chose to sit deep and look for chances on the counter attack. Midway through the first half, they delivered a cross from the byline and their forward struck a stunning volley, scoring a world-class goal to give them the lead before halftime.

In the second half, the opponents focused on defending deep while we pushed forward in search of an equaliser. The team created several golden chances, but all were denied by the opponent’s outstanding goalkeeper.

Finally, in the 75th minute, our key centre-back Keith stepped up once again. Pushing forward to join the attack, he capitalised on a defensive error and calmly placed the ball into the net to make it 1-1.

The team fought hard and successfully secured a valuable point away from home.

今次對手絕對係「難兄難弟」。雙方今季成績同樣未算穩定，對手暫時5戰僅得1分，排在榜末。不過呢場絕對唔可以睇輕——隨時係一場名副其實嘅「六分波」⚔️

我哋方面6戰得5分，同樣處於下游位置。再加上今場有唔少傷兵，形勢確實唔輕鬆，挑戰重重。

但正正因為咁，更加要咬緊牙關，全力以赴💪

After nearly two months of break, Hongkongers UK South League finally returns to action! 🔥
The team is back on the road again, this time facing Stortford Rangers away from home.

Our opponents are truly in the same boat as us. Both sides have had an inconsistent start to the season. Stortford Rangers have picked up just one point from five matches and currently sit at the bottom of the table. But this is definitely not a game to take lightly — it could very well be a massive six-pointer ⚔️

On our side, we have five points from six matches and are in a similarly crucial position. With several injuries in the squad, this will not be an easy challenge.

All the more reason to dig deep and give everything 💪
Stay solid at the back, take our chances when they come, and hopefully open our 2026 account with a first victory of the year!

The Lunar New Year Tournament sounded absolutely electric! With the Dragon, Horse, Spirit, and God teams all in action, 46 teammates battling it out — and a format of 3 points for a win plus 1 bonus point per goal — there was no room to take it easy 😆

Team God sealed the title in style, smashing in 5 goals in their final match to finish with 9 points from 3 games and lift the trophy!

Of course, winning is sweet — but the real highlight is getting the brothers together on the pitch: laughing, chasing every ball, and catching up on the sidelines.
