Calling on new members aged 11-17 to join our lawn bowls section. It's a sport for ALL!! It's friendly and it's fun. Coaching will be given. All equipment for coaching will be supplied.

Congratulations to all our 2025 Internal Competition 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨 and 𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨-𝙪𝙥. We saw brilliant performances across every discipline, with plenty of close games and nail-biting finishes that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

𝗔 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 to our first-time finalists and new members who made their mark this year. It was great to see fresh talent coming through! 👏

Cᴏɴɢʀᴀᴛᴜʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴꜱ ᴛᴏ Bᴇʀɴɪᴇ Tᴏᴅᴅ!

We’re thrilled to announce that Bernie Todd, a proud member of Woodcroft Bowls Club in Eltham, Greenwich, has been nominated as Senior Vice President Elect for the Kent County Bowling Association.

This exciting nomination was made in mid-July 2025 and will be officially confirmed at the Association’s meeting in November 2025. Bernie will serve as Senior Vice President throughout 2026, before stepping into the prestigious role of President of Kent County Bowling Association in 2027.

🏆 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 & 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
𝗠𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗟𝗫 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Won the league.
𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 (𝗣𝗖𝗟) – Finished as Runners‑Up.
𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 (𝗠𝗲𝗻) – Team One secured a 1st place in Division 3. Team Two finished 2nd in Division 5. The Third team achieved a solid mid‑table finish in Division 8 in their first year in the competition.

𝗡𝗪𝗞 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝘂𝗽 (𝗠𝗲𝗻) – Victory for our men.

𝗠𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 – Joe Bagnall reached Semi‑Finals.
𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀’ 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 – Cathy Rochester, Semi‑Finals.
𝗠𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 – Jamie Brown, Jeff Baker, Geoff Hodgson and Laurence Rolfe reached the Semi‑Finals.
𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 – Jamie Brown, Cathy Rochester, Keith Jarvis & Duncan Wood finished as Runners‑Up in the Finals.
𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀’ 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 – Our winners were Sylvie Batchelor & Cathy Rochester.
𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 – Joe Bagnall & Theo Kruger finished Runners‑Up.

Woodcroft's Lady Bowlers took to the rinks on July 26th, 2025, for a swashbuckling showdown inspired by 𝙋𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙣. With triples teams battling across three rinks, the day was packed with precision, laughter, and pirate flair.
